April 28, 2008, 6:32 a.m.Amazing how people speed at the cost of gas, where I live if you are doing the speed limit you are passed at speeds of 80mph plus. Sad.

April 28, 2008, 11:38 a.m.Common senses can go a long way, can't it? Drive slower, get a smaller, more fuel efficient car, walk more, etc. I'm completely behind the drive for fuel alternatives etc, but can't people learn to make adjustments while they are waiting? I heard a news story about families skipping meals to pay for fuel. Ridiculous. There was a big screen TV (most likely with cable programming) in the background and a cell phone in their hand, another person was filling their huge SUV at the time of the interview. Priorities? Common Sense?

April 28, 2008, 2:17 p.m.Hey now...this is Detroit, our speed limit is seventy. Yall just aint cool ifin u aint goin at least twenty over! :)
I'm kidding of course...I actually see alot of people driving the truck limit which is sixty. I've taken to following them myself, and it is suprising how much more you get out of your fill up. It's just ironic that everyone here has a V-8 and tries to drive faster than they can see. Of course you've got a governor who put the limit at seventy. I suspect an oil industry kick back there somewhere.
