It has long been clear that the "surge" was nothing more than a temporary blip that solved nothing. Meanwhile, zionist general Petraeus has again fallen upward.

I can't believe that you're a professor. You call the general, "zionist general Petraeus. Yet you offer no evidence to support your position. Even the article that you link to from Tomdispatch offers no support for your claim that Petraeus is a Zionist.
The Tomdispatch article has to do with generals pushing Pentagon propaganda in the Media and the general's ascent.
It truly is flaccid writing and reasoning by you. I hope you wouldn't give one of your student's a passing grade for practicing your type of logic and reasoning.

When you invade and occupy another country, it is logical to expect resistance from people who oppose the occupation leading to riots, violence and death. You kill them and they kill you.
Unless you ask Bush & Cheney, they will say we will be welcomed with flowers and cakes.
So, sit back, relax (quote: Rumsfield) and enjoy the adventure. In the end, the taxpayers will pay to fix all the damage and destruction caused by the invasion and occupation.

What a waste of American lives. This administration is the worst I have lived through in the past seventy years.
Everybody's a hero in the new world order. I was a Philadelphia policeman in the sixties-seventies and no one called us heroes, we just did our jobs.
This guy Bush uses fear and the military to insure that
no one protests too loudly, because God forbid anyone shows objections to the war-they're simply,"unpatriotic"

The reality is, we have taught the Iraqis that the only way to solve their problems is via guns and violence. We have bombed them, tortured them, ignored the helpless pleas of injured, starving civilians and this is the quagmire we have created.
When we spend as much money teaching peace, promoting the eliminate of poverty, feeding and clothing the poor, providing basic medical care and house to everyone, then both we and the Iraqis can live in peace.
War is not the solution. For a great book on peace, see the Korana of Mother Goddess, a book that only teaches peace and love. It is available on Amazon dot com and on ebay and write if you would like a free ecopy.
Imagine a world where every child was love, nutured and fed.
