Yes, it is Israeli apartheid »
Posted By hyperbola 1 year, 6 months ago in NewsIt is entirely clear why the word apartheid terrifies us so. What should frighten us, however, is not the description of reality, but reality itself. Even Ehud Olmert has understood at last that continuing the present situation is the end of the Jewish democratic state.

No matter how you twist it the word 'apartheid' ("Separation") means exactly that, separation of SAME STATE citizens based on their race, ethnicity, religion, etc.
Separation of people based on their CITIZENSHIP is not 'apartheid'. For example, in the US American citizens have rights that are different from the rights of Cubans or Russians who are NOT American citizens and this difference in rights is NOT 'apartheid'.
Similarly, Israeli citizens in Israel have rights that are different from the rights of Jordanian, Chinese or Palestinian citizens... and it is NOT 'apartheid', either.

Despite your delusions, the article is from an israeli who says you are lying. More importantly, israel has used ethnic cleansing to push palestinians into "Bantustans" (same as the Afrikaaners) to create the illusion that these people are subhumans without human rights. The analogy between israeli racism and south african racism is perfect.

First, it the Israeli who is lying, not me.
Second, if Israel used "ethnic cleansing" the ethnicity in question would be "cleansed" meaning that there would be no Arabs in Israel. The fact, however, is that the number of Arabs in Israel INCREASED by 900% since 1948.
Third, if the Palestinians were "pushed into "Bantustans"" they would be these "Bantustans" in Israel containing Palestinians not being allowed to leave them. The fact, however, is that there are no such places in Israel. All Israeli Arabs are free to move anywhere in Israel.

Sorry but Israeli historians have long since exposed your lies for what they are - using official israeli documents.
The ethnic cleansing of Palestine
by Ilan Pappe
University of Haifa
The book shows that in 1948, the Zionist movement waged a war against the Palestinain people in order to implement its long term plans of ethnic cleansing. The Arab world tried to prevent this cleansing, but was too fragmented, self-centered and ineffective to stop the uprooting of half of Palestine's native population, the destruction of half of its villages and towns and the killing of thousands of its people.
And since that ethnic cleansing was implemented in almost 80% of Palestine without any global or regional repercussions - the ethnic cleansing policy continues ever since 1967 in the remaining 20% of the country. Creating a Jewish state in historical Palestine cleansed of Palestinians is still the ideolgoical infrastructure on which the state of Israel is based.

> ...... The book uses the accepted scholarly definition of Ethnic Cleansing...
Can you tell us YOUR definition of "ethnic cleansing" if you don't mind?
You see, there are two possibilities for such definition. One will tell us that "cleansing" can be applied to CITIZENS OF ONE STATE when one or more groups of citizens is/are separated from another/other group(s) due to racial, ethnic, religious or other differences. Good examples of such states are Nazi Germany, Saudi Arabia, Iraq under Saddam or Soviet Union.
Another possible definition of "cleansing" can be applied to groups of people due to their citizenship. This means that citizens of a state are separated from people who ARE NOT CITIZENS of that state. ANY state will be a proper example of such "cleansing" and no (at least to my knowledge) states will be excluded from it.
So what is YOUR definition?
