How Much Did Rumsfeld Know? »

Posted By tehranchik 1 year, 6 months ago in News

I walked into Rumsfeld's office at 1:25 p.m. on April 19, 2006. He had just returned from a meeting at the White House, and the only other person present in the room was his new Chief of Staff, John Rangel.

Rumsfeld could never accept that the second war against Iraq, which was already a defeated country, with heavy sanctions and restrictions, would not be a cake-walk. The truth is:

They actually DID welcome us as liberators after "mission accomplished", but we told them, "hold on, hold on", because WE wanted to fine-tune THEIR government. We put a wet blanket on their enthusiasm and failed to restore even basic services, while we "stayed the course" for three years, as we watched things deteriorate. We, and they, would be better off today, if we had pulled back, after mission accomplished, and simply offerred rebuilding aid and advice. The country would likely not have turned into the current battlefield.

Sanchez was retired early and not given his 4 star status due to his part in the torture interrogations. Human Rights Watch and the Schlesinger reports state that he went above and beyond any norm for interrogations----now he's telling us that it was all done under the watchful eye of Rumsfeld who is trying to cover his own arse.

Rumsfeld is the architect of this whole mess. He is one of the original members of the infamous PNAC. This should come as no surprise. If McCain is elected they will have the free run at the Whitehouse agian. Why won't people wake up, educate themselves and see what's really going on?

" Why won't people wake up, educate themselves and see what's really going on? "

That's a the million dollar question, is the answer, there all watching the Jerry Springer show and they could give a flying rats a$$ what's really going on?

Or after hearing old rummy say this, there just to dammed confused to give a f@@K.

Reports that say that something hasn't happened are always interesting to me, because as we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns -- the ones we don't know we don't know. And if one looks throughout the history of our country and other free countries, it is the latter category that tend to be the difficult ones.

Most Americans seem not to realize that Rumsfeld (along with Cheney and Wolfowitz) has been involved in three episodes of mass murder, starting with a million Indonesians during the Ford administration. Perhaps even earlier. Here is what a former member of our National Security Council has to say about Rummy.

              The Tragedy of Donald Rumsfeld

              The Undertaker's Tally

... It was in 1963, during Don Rumsfeld's first months in Congress, that the Iraqi Ba'ath Party -- since 1959 recruited, funded, marshaled and directed by the CIA, and trailing a twenty-six-year-old Tikriti street thug named Saddam Hussein (himself a CIA-paid assassin) along with lists of hundreds of left-leaning Iraqi political figures and professionals to be murdered after the coup -- seized power in Baghdad....
