Comments for Sun Myung Moon- Savior Of The World and Republican Too! »
Posted By Radiofreeeuropa 1 year, 8 months ago in NewsSelf proclaimed "savior" Moon has financial and political ties worldwide worth billions of dollars. His ambition is no less than worldwide theocracy led by himself or his "sinless children." This guy has become the number one candidate for the anti-Christ. He is quietly helped along by the right wing politicians and pundits.

Sun Myung Moon has declared Jesus is a failure, that he (Moon) is greater than God because he has rescued the pathetic Jesus.
What the? He also seeks to become (actually declares he already is) Emperor of the World! And who are his followers?
You might be surprised at what kind of followers money can buy!

When I was growin up, I was a true believer in Jesus and Christianity. But then, 25 years ago, a movement took hold of Christianity in America ... the Christian Conservative movement.
Suddenly, Jesus was out ... and Republicans were IN.!!
Today, Christian Conservatives dont base their life-view on Jesus, the life view of Christian Conservatives is based on the Republican Platform ... which shifts and changes with every election.

Oh.. I forgot to say how this relates to Sun Myung Moon.
----------
When I was growin up ... Sun Myung Moon was considered a heathen nutcase brain-washer of young poeple ... a cult leader along the lines of that JOnes or L Ron Hubberd and Scientology.
The fact that Sun Mynug Moon is now our IDEOLOGICAL PARTNER in a union with Republicans and Neo-Conservatives ... well ... is there really any doubt at all what Christian Conservatism means any longer?
If you dint fill in the pause for yourself ... I will tell you point blank. ...
------
Bein Christian Conservative in America today means simply that you have a hardline, repressive/retribution oriented social philosophy. And your economic policy resembles a Libertarian, Lay-Za-Faire attitude to business ...
By that I mean, Business has more rights than Poeple. Poeple should always defer to the rights of Business ... and poeple should sacrifice all to the interests of business.
Amen.

By the way,,, did yall know that Sun Myung Moon founded The Washington Star for the explicit purpose of molding public opinion to his hardline beliefes?
And did you know that it was The Washington Star that was alone in keeping White Water alive as a 'scandal' when it looked as if it was going away for lack of anything pertinent?
So ... here you got this Korean ex-patriot, recruiter (scammer) of our young poeple into forking over all their assets to join his cult ... then he uses that money to nearly bring down a presidency and throw our nation into turmoil.
And THIS is the darling of the Republicans and Christian Conservatives.
NOW do yall see why Im CRAAAAZIE for Republican/Neo-Cons?!?!?!
YOU GOTTA BE CRAAAZIE TO LOVE EM!!!

And, Insight Magazine and Noticias Del Mundo in Latin America.
I think Babs and Poppy were with the True Parents in So. Amer.

may also be available here in the states - I'm not sure,

It was both actually, the Star was the name before Loony Moonie bought it. Did you know he bought API? That's right! Moon controls what goes out on the API wire.
Moon owns the Associated Press International.
But we don't want any regulation of media ownership, no, good heavens, perish the thought. And media is "liberul" or at least I have been told many hundreds of times by the neoclowns. LOL... but then cry.

Still a large news service. Thanks for the correction bluetexasvalley and jaspersneed.

She went to the Hearst chain. She was back in the front
row but not being called on for questions. Well, she WAS
up until last week. She sits next to Martha Raddatz with ABC
- another terrific reporter - but dear Helen wasn't there.
I only hope her absense is temporary.

If you didn't hear any of these revelations on broadcast

90% of Americans...........it's UNKNOWN!
For those of us getting re-acquainted with the Rev.Moon

I read that acquiring UPI - even though it was having
dire financial difficulties - was a prime target because
owning the wire service would guarantee Moon's reporter
a seat on Air Force One. Losing a little money was worth
it for Moon to have even more high power access.

Goppy,
The Christians mostly never focused on Jesus' teachings. It was Jesus' death and magical ascension and Paul's teachings that guide the ideological arteries.
btw, Moon did not found the Washington Star! My S.O.'s father was a reporter, and that was a very old newspaper that went bankrupt and the Washington Post bought its facilities. Moon-boy came along after all of that.
But you're right--the Republican platform changes at every election--usually becoming more fascist in the process. I can forgive your minor oversights (seein' yur a gud Krischen 'n' all!).
Between Islam, the Moonies, the Evangelicals, and the mainline Prostestants regressing to the ancient, and the Catholics still saying one needs to have a package and be in the line of David, we're in a heap of trouble, I imagine.

The failure is Moon and his corrupt thinking and beliefs. For the Republicans and neocons to embrace this only shows how very little they truly Love God.
These things are written about in The Revalation of Jesus Christ. There will be many false teachers and prophets.
How truly sad that those who claim to be Christians can even stomach being inthe same room with Moon.
Not a surprise though. When you worship money, power, sex, control, ... you are worshipping the things of the devil. It seems like many neocons want these things to be their god.
They are lost and should be looking for the light instead of trying to lead others into their darkness.
Moon and those of his ilk are truly evil. No wonder the politicians love him.

There is no shelf life on a submission that has not been on propeller before if it is not posted as news. You know as well as I that the Moon influence on this country is purposefully not reported. Why no indignation over the sale of influence to this Reverend? Why do you seek to hush it up? This treachery is very real. Not many know about it.

Hey - I'm grateful that someone found some of these "old"
stories and shared them. I don't appreciate being kept in the
dark about what's REALLY going on in my world.
Ask anyone if they remember the Rev. Moon or the Moonies
and I would lay odds that MOST of them (if they were at
least teenagers in the 80's)will say they remember them
as kooks with the mass weddings and that they thought they
just faded away a long time ago. Ask around - then tell
them the historical facts you gathered by studying up on
OLD news. It practically qualifies as "Breaking News" if
they have never heard it before - doesn't it?

Yup - his new push is getting active in the NGO organizations.
Matter of fact - Josette Sheeran Shiner - a Moonie for 22 years - is now the executive director of the World Food Program for ther United Nations. George W. Bush PUSHED her
nomination last year.......and she got it.
This is nothing but rumor - so far - but I read that the
Secretary General of the U.N., Korean - Ban Ki MOON, is listed as a non-denominational Christian. The "rumor" part was that
that "non-denominational Christian" is practically code for
Unification Church member in Korea.

Some people follow the Rev. Moon, others adore George Soros, but reasonable people usually end up somewhere in between.
The Rev. Moon is largely irrelevant. He is certainly not representative of Conservative thinking in this nation or any other. But I suspect that a member of the "Gang of Four" has posted this tripe in an attempt to bring any and all Conservatives into disrepute. It is a cheap trick and will influence very few, but it is representative of the attitude those who would control how other members think bring to this forum.

Lets see Moon has spent 100s of billions of dollars on conservative political causes. The Soros net worth in it's entirety is around 8 billion. George Soros is an American Citizen. Moon is not. What Soros spends is a drop in the bucket compared to moon politically, perhaps you genuinely believe he is irrelevant, but that would be a mistake. Here are the facts regarding the Moon - Soros political spending:
http://www.iapprovethismessiah.com/2003/11/hand...
Moon is succeeding in his bid to be emperor and he is using you to do so, instead of empty condemnations of those who don't share your point of view you should direct your anger at those who sold you out.

There are two possibilities here--either you have difficulty distinguishing between the word "billion" and the word "million," OR you are both a fool and a liar.
Of course, I could also question your choice of sources, since it is evident that John Gorenfeld strongly supports George Soros and despises Rev. Moon, but the statement above will suffice for the moment.
You might deduce, from my initial comment (if you were intelligent enough to do so), that I support neither Soros nor Moon. In fact, I regard both of them much as I regard you--as part of a pernicious disease which afflicts society and works to prevent reasonable people from discussing issues based upon realities rather than propaganda.
It is occasionally amusing, though, to watch you get all bent out of shape when someone points out your basic dishonesty.

Moon has spent Billions (not millions) on conservative causes over the last 30 years. If we include the estimated losses his Washington times costs him, and it is merely a front for his propaganda, estimated at 112 million a year, the purchase price etc. You will find that the ballpark figure is indeed billions. No one says you support Moon (if you were intelligent enough to read my comment, ahem) And your dislike for me is well, rather obsessive and psychotic, though I care not for most of your comments, you have no effect on me one way or another.

What is failing to be addressed is the assertion that Moon is irrelevant. This article and the ponderous bulk of links in the thread seem to indicate quite otherwise. Shall I personally insult you now? No, I should return your insult but why bother?
Perhaps a link that proves Moon isn't influencing politicians would be more useful than insults Oscar, Got one?

I seem to remember certain people being fairly indignant about a Buddhist temple contributing money that came from China to the Clinton Campaign. I tend to agree, non US citizens should not be influencing political campaigns. But how does one not be equally appalled with Moon's far more substantial influence in American politics?

"instead of empty condemnations of those who don't share your point of view"
Your words imply that I hold a particular point of view which I do not hold. It is another cheap trick, and may actually be effective among those who regularly participate in your circle jerks.
Your link is useless, and its links lead to other attack sites, not to factual research. You have not actually checked tham out, or examined them critically because they support what you WANT to believe, not what actually happened. This merely serves as further evidence of your fundamental dishonesty.

As a carrier of the disease, you should know it best Oscar. However, in this case, RFE is the doctor, because he constantly puts the extremists and apologists in their place. The difference between an extremist and an apologist is that an extremist (take NoSpineDave for example) turns off logic and backs his *team* no matter who is right or wrong. An apologist, such as yourself, is someone who has drunk the kool-aid in the past, knows better, but still cannot kick the habit fully. You hide your guilt and shame of being so fooled by the worst we have seen by trying to equate the Left with the Right - thereby giving yourself a pass.

Once again you come on all righteous about an issue, as if
you valued one opinion over another. Now you reveal the truth of the matter - and it's so sad..........You don't respect ANY opinion (maybe your own?)
Is there NO situation that would make you stick your neck out and voice a comment that might be designed to improve the human condition? A view that disagrees with mine is not a problem - but I hear "I support neither Moon or Soros" and
you find it amusing to watch others who comment get all bent out of shape? Your whole diatribe shows someone who came in
to needle those who do comment and NOT to converse on the topic. Why?

I have a problem with Rev. Moon, but I am not so dishonest as to attempt to present him as representative of conservative positions on American issues or of the Republican Party in any form. Neither do I think that George Soros or the media outlets he supports are typical of Liberal positions or of the Democratic Party.
I do, however, firmly believe that posts such as this poison the American dialogue and serve only to conceal the nature of the very real problems which confront us today. That is why I speak out against such postings.

NWM, Soros is very powerful, devious, and he has openly expressed anti-American views. He also knows how to invest his money so he can wield more power over government while appearing to be a philanthropist. Follow his money and you'll see him embrace dictators and seek to undermine parts of the U.S. Constitution.
He's definitely not crazy.

1-2-Oscar, I think Soros operates in the shadows so much, people barely notice anything but his books on how he got so rich, and he spends money in ways that it's hard to follow to see what he's actually doing.
Few realize Soros recently applauded the U.S. economic downturn and actually said he hopes China gains ground and the U.S. falters. Of course, first he built his own wealth in the U.S. Let him move to China if he loves it so much and stop messing with our government.
Moon is not irrelevant by any means, any more than James Dobson is irrelevant. Both are slick and sell a very enticing product to desperate people and are gaining enormous wealth and power from doing so. Both are well aware that P.T. Barnum was absolutely right.

Some quotes from Moon:
The Rev. Moon has said:
"America is Satanic. America is so Satanic that even hamburgers should be considered evil, because they come from America,'"
"Jesus failed miserably. He died a lonely death. Reverend Moon is the hero that comes and saves pathetic Jesus. Reverend Moon is better than God."
"Americans who continue to maintain their privacy and individualism are foolish people,"
On May 1, 1997, Moon told a group of followers that "the country that represents Satan's harvest is America." Moon also declared that "Satan created this kind of Hell on Earth," the United States. He again denounced American women as having "inherited the line of prostitutes. American women are even worse because they practice free sex just because they enjoy it."

Lashing out at the United States again, Moon decried American tolerance of homosexuals, whom he likened to "dirty dung-eating dogs." For Americans who "truly love such dogs," Moon said, "they also become like dung-eating dogs and produce that quality of life."
Republicans have no problem allying with this man though.
Bush Sr. Even went to South America with him to celebrate the expansion of his Cult into South America. And Neil accompanied him to the Philippines recently. They are bestest buddies!
