I'm from North Carolina and it doesn't surprise me that he got 90% of the black vote. Most of them are uneducated and living on welfare in the area I'm from, so electing him assures them more government handouts....most wouldn't know anything about any issue, they just want a black man elected...

Sure, you aren't a racist for saying that.
Just show us your data.
What percentage of the population in your area are black? What percent are uneducated?
What percent are on welfare?
I am sure you are using real facts, and not just racist sterotyping.

Isn't it hilarious how Obama said in Mississippi that the voters were not voting because of color ...then on CNN when a black woman was asked why she voted for Obama & she said, " Oh because he BE BLACK!!!"
My point is because Obama is riding on his color. While his white constituents are voting for him like the 60's hippy days to show "brotherhood" ...then go home and hope that their kids won't make them say "Whose coming to dinner?"
Even the slogan of bringing about "real change"!!!!! Real change, put a woman in the White House instead of another MAN ...just with more melanin in his skin then the other 43 Presidents!

The headless chicken is still running.
Would somone please put that poor creature out of its misery!
I understand that Hillary will be a guest on the Rush Limbaugh show tomorrow. That should be interesting. Ha!
BTW vidman, your ignorant remark about Obama smarts of racism and is quite inacurrate. The average educational level of those supporting Obama is much higher than those voting for Clinton.

Quite true, the educational level is higher, but the message from Obama is quite clear. Black, white, brown, rich, poor, red state, blue state, old, young came together and voted for America. Change doesn't come from the top. This election isn't about Clinton, Obama, or McCain it's about us, the American People. We want to have our dream of what America is, returned to us. We don't want Wall street or some neocon ideologues telling us what America is. We want a to give our children and our grandchildren a chance.

Vidman is simply pointing out the reality in NC
"The average educational level of those supporting Obama is much higher than those voting for Clinton."
You are mixing identity groups - the majority of the "educated" are white
Look at the demographics in NC and the poverty rates by race

Duhhh ... Racism exists in this country ... as evidenced by Rev. Wright ...and whom (Obama)...you can bet your Spadecalling butt ...knew exactly what that baptist "born again" Christian Preacher ...was saying, all those years!!!
The good Wright didn't just starting preaching with those words this year. He's been saying it and meaning it all those years. Obama went there and chose that church & preacher!!!
He is a hypocrite and all those voting for him, can be catagorized with those that chose Bush over Kerry.
Time has shown what a stupid and iresponsible act that turned out to be for over 4000 soldiers & their families.
Obama - the junior senator can come out with all his hindsight and impress those who wasted their parents money becoming educated - knew a lot of those going to college back then .... but hindsight is just that. It doesn't take a genius to know that the cows have run out of the barn and point it out.

The real fact is that the voters in Florida and Michigan got screwed and their votes do not count as of now. Those people have a right to be heard and to have their votes count. If they counted those votes Hillary would be winning right now. Don't be surprised if that issue goes to the Supreme Court to give justice to the folks in Michigan and Florida.
Obama and his supporters are not interested in justice though.
Don't get all excited yet. The Supreme Court decides what is legal and it is legal to count all American votes.
By the way. I back vidman by saying that Obama and his followers are the racists by voting for him just because he is black.
Obama is truely the devil himself.

She agreed that if the primaries went ahead as planned then the delegates from those states would not be seated. Are you saying that you want a person whose word isn't good to be President?
I am not Black and I have two college degrees. I fully support the next President of the United States of America: Barack Obama.

automan909:
I doubting you care about the rights of Democrats voting in Florida and Michigan.
I think you are pushing for Hillary to continue fighting for the nomination, just to cause chaos for the Democrats.
And vidman was careful to say what he meant; that the black people of his neighborhood were ignorant racists on welfare.
It gave us a clearer picture of vidman and you, than of his neighbors.

you sound so scared of obama.
Michigan and Florida broke party rules. they knew that going in but they went ahead anyway. Before the primaries started everyone agreed as to how it would play out, including hillary and obama.
you're simply trying to change the rules in the fourth quarter cause you're losing.
and the supreme court won't decide how the dem party susses this out. the dem party will.
you say obama and his backers are racist then trun around and say Obama is truly the devil himself? oooookaaaaaaay freekshow.
we're moving forward, with of without you.

A win is a win. Whether blacks or whites or browns voted for him. After all, in USA everything is judged and decided by a person's skin color.
They are not called Americans. They are called whites, blacks, hispanic whites, hispanic blacks, Asian browns.
Even in India, a much bigger and true democracy, the media reports "HOW" many people voted for a candidate. A lesson USA has a long way to go to LEARN.

They are called that because that is the way they want it. Just like Obama phrased it on CNN A Slave State. I thought he of all people would refrain from using the word slave after all, they have been without chains for a long time. What was that Mr. Obama a slip of the tongue? Slave state, huh.

I would hate to think that the black people will vote for an ogre, just because he is black..
After all--slavery is behind us..as for discrimation--I as a polock, have been discriminated against for many years.but I would never vote for a criminal polock..just because he is a polock..
Osama will not wear a lapel flag pin--because it may offend some one--the only people our flag offends today are muslims..which half of Obamas family is..

Obama was not worried about offending anyone.
He stopped wearing one because it has become the symbol of
fake patriotism. It offended him.
Flag pins are obscene little tin trinkets substituting for what can only be honestly expressed in action.
We can't see your lapels from here, HMMace. How do we know you are a patriot?

what about the idea that Sharpton and Jackson really want to see the super delegates to go for Hillary to further their cause of race baiting and hate. Anyone feel the same way about it. If you disagree you don't have to call me names just an opinion would be fine.

That is exactly what I have been thinking
Sharpton and Jackson will have a difficult time making their case if a Black man is elected president
They have made their money with race baiting and hate for years.
At this point in their lives changing jobs would be difficult

Why can't Hillary seal the deal? She has one of the most recognized brand names in politics and a popular expresident in her corner!
She can't seal the deal EVER!!!! what a hypocrite, liar, and overall inflated windbag. Her only influence in this election is to spoil it for the eventual nominee, Barak Obama.

And another good point if he gets elected POTUS, if any foreign leader visiting the White House angers the first lady she'll "gouge their eyes out." On a serious note what has he proposed or done to indicate he will make any difference? All I've seen is more government and more tax dollars.

Well, to start with, I like his idea to shift the tax breaks from companies that outsource labor to companies that use US labor.
As for taxes. I'm sure they'll go up a bit, but I'd rather have a 'tax and spend' Liberal than a 'borrow and spend' Neo-Con any day.
I'd like to see him put the smack-down on shady lenders as he is proposing.

Every black person in my area is voting for Obama. I see their stickers on their cars or in front of their houses in my neighborhood. I talked to one in my buiding the other day. She has no clue about what he stands for and has never voted before. She thinks Obama is gonna help the black community because her church told her so. She was talking about this election like someone would talk about wanting their sports team to win. It's obvious to me she is only voting this time around because there is a viable black (isnt he Half White?) candidate.
as I get older, I realize Alexander Hamilton was right. The sheep can not govern themselves. We desrve to be run by elites or kings. To vote based on race, sex, religion is to ruin the entire concept of self rule.

Considering that only white males have made serious runs at the presidency up to now, you just disqualified all of american democracy.
And how much are you basing your opposition to Obama, on the fact that he is the choice of the black people in your area?

So now the reason for the Prolotariat becomes clearer.....
Remember America had a choice between Kerry & Bush ...and they picked the worst person ever to run this country; which he promptly ran into the ground.
What gets me is the way they used their logic and facts to choose the village idiot.
The protagonists: A war hero, combat veteran & an officer vs. an individual whose first business went bankrupt, and whose time in the military was questionable from the start and ended with a questionable record (AWOL).
Had they been in a HRO of a corporation ...they'd have all been fired!!!

He's only running to stop Hillary. The republicans are going in and voting him because they know he's does nothing except mainly in the interest of African Americans. Take the gas tax reduction for instance, Bush just vetoed it. Obama spoke against it. We need a break so we can take what little we can and sustain our economy with. Bush is afraid that People will take any extra money and find an easier way to live. You know what I mean, like turn your vehicle into a cheaper way to go, buy solar panels for your house or fund Hillary. Maybe spend it on family needs like a doctor, keep someone alive another day. Looks like Obama is out of touch. The President is supposed to put the well being and prosperity of his country first. Those very same republicans will vote republican. The Texas two step is all over the nation. Obama is getting paid to do this buy the republicans. I have enough muslims trying to control my life now.

Tax cuts, tax breaks, tax rebaits, without matching cuts in spending, are all only deficit spending.
Deficit spending is only defered taxation.
You still have to pay the bill; but with interest.
Obama was brave to oppose it; it was the sort of cheap trick that politicians pull when they gamble that the voters are children.

Obama is a master of political speak. Say nothing eloquently. He talks about hope and change. Just like Clintons by word for his first election. "It's time for a change." Then he stuck his finger in the air and went the way the political wind was blowing. Is this going to be the "change" Obama is selling us?
His web site gives a platform that is very comprehensive and will cost more money than the country has. All the far left wish list. His ideas will out spend Clinton's ideas. He is farther left than she is. Of course to pay for it would require a confiscatory tax. But that is what the left is known for. Tax and Spend. And liberals will think Bush had it under control after Obama gets done spending.

Barack Obama's Plan
Provide Middle Class Americans Tax Relief
Obama will cut income taxes by $1,000 for working families to offset the payroll tax they pay.
Provide a Tax Cut for Working Families: Obama will restore fairness to the tax code and provide 150 million workers the tax relief they need. Obama will create a new "Making Work Pay" tax credit of up to $500 per person, or $1,000 per working family. The "Making Work Pay" tax credit will completely eliminate income taxes for 10 million Americans.

Simplify Tax Filings for Middle Class Americans: Obama will dramatically simplify tax filings so that millions of Americans will be able to do their taxes in less than five minutes. Obama will ensure that the IRS uses the information it already gets from banks and employers to give taxpayers the option of pre-filled tax forms to verify, sign and return. Experts estimate that the Obama proposal will save Americans up to 200 million total hours of work and aggravation and up to $2 billion in tax preparer fees.

The point is the IRS ALREADY collects this information in the first place. How do you think they know when to audit someone? Do they get it wrong sometimes? You bet, which is why it would be A) optional, and B) require the taxpayer's verification.
