CNN is reporting he has a 2-1 lead over hillary so far. 66% to 32%. Which should pretty much negate any gains she has in Indiana. and give him the overall delegate lead for the day.

Race is getting closer, though still heavily favoring Obama. CNN now reporting him with a 16% lead in NC with 45% of vote counted, meanwhile Hillary has lost almost all of her lead in Indiana, and with 72% of the vote counted, she is up only 4%.

Obama now at 14%, and Hillary's lead in Indiana is down to only 2% and is so close, nobody is declaring her the winner so far.

Obama lost Indiana by only a handful of votes.

Once again, Clinton's words to Petraeus could be read as advice to her after Tuesday's primaries: "I give you tremendous credit for presenting as positive a view of a rather grim reality. I believe that you â;¦ were dealt a very hard hand. And it's a hand that is unlikely to improve, in my view."

From China to Obama - GOOOOO OOOBBBAAAMMMAAA!!!

Also twenty yars ago, I predicted that a Afro-American will be our next president by creating 12 pictures (symbolizing TIME - 12 digit on the hand-watch) and have them exhibited 2007 in China, not once, but twice, by popular demand.

I will be back home before NOVEMBER 2008 to make CHANGES.

Lol, good post Miles Away! I agree, it requires a "willing suspension of disbelief" for her to think she's going to win the nomination!

He has won Indi too, they are doing what they did in PA, say she won by 10 points and then a day and a half later they announced that it was 9.3 points. Now we have a county that is said to be for Obams that has refused to send in any of their votes until all the votes are count. The guys on CNN are starting to worry that the fix is in!

Is it just me or are stories about the election being buried on here?

Indi Obama 49% clinton 51% go bama

I'm all for Obama, he really is a better choice as president, considering Clinton and McCain.

But it seems that the democrats have truly hamstrung themselves, yet again. Sure, Obama was clearly going to win in NC, simple demographics will show you that. Are voters going to vote for either a black candidate or a woman candidate?

Blacks make up about 13% of the US, and 40% of dem whites voted for Obama in NC. These aren't really good numbers when you consider the possibility of Obama becoming president.

I'll say I like Obama's words to "look beyond 'electability'" in your andidate, and vote for who you like, unfortunately, this kind of objectivity, perhaps idealism, doesn't translate well into reality.

It would be hard enough getting Clinton into the White House, although women are a near 50% in the US. It will be near impossible to get Obama in office.

With Obama as candidate, McCain will only need a black, woman, or simply charismatic running mate to sew up the race.

Obams took 40% of the whites in NC and 33% in Indi, that's up from 26 in PA. and as much as the talking heads want you to think that whites are not voting for Obama, that is just not true...there is no way this guy could win 31 states without the votes of whites.

There are plenty of people who would vote for my dog over McCain, and he's black too and not even human. I think the choice of running mate is pretty much insignificant to the majority of voters, and only serves to pull in a small number of voters to any ticket. The vp is a pretty powerless office in itself, unless the office holder is empowered by the president. Originally our vp's were the runners-up in the presidential elections, and considering the one we have now we could go back to that system and be just fine.

I would need to know a lot more about your dog.

Does he wear a flag lapel pin?

Can he get the cat vote?

Is he too old to learn any new tricks?

He wears a r/w/b collar, does that help? He doesn't care about anyone's race, religion, or ethnicity, but will not abide rodents of any sort. Guess that sorta does in all my political ambitions for him, huh? LOL

If he doesn't like rodents, how can you expect him to get along with congress?
