Great fun, GM, thanks for this.
One technical point, although Yankovich is parodying "Subterranean Homesick Blues" with the visuals here, right down to a Ginsberg look-alike in the background, the rhythm and phrasing of the song more closely approximates "Bob Dylan's 115th Dream", also on the Bringing it all back Home album. Yankovich would've delighted in that song because Dylan starts without the band behind him, and breaks into infectious laughter. The album producers chose to leave it in the final product -- wisely!
