mccain trying to play both sides against the middle...releasing his tax returns to look "semi-normal" all the while riding around in his multi millionare wifes priv jet
yet he has the nerve to call obama an "elite" when the obamas just got their student loans paid off when his book made money
the sad part is with the msm being the corp shills they r a big segment of the population doesnt get to hear the truth

        Though I can in no way agree with "Mac in 09" or any other year, I agree with HER. She is a private citizen, neither candidate nor elected official, and she in no way owes the public her tax information. I assert the Republicans' right to privacy even if they don't think anybody else should have any.

        Clinton published his tax returns for eight straight years.
        During the 2004 presidential election, the Tax History Project published tax returns released by the Democratic candidate, Sen. John Kerry.

        My bad, Clinton and Gore's tax records are on line, however, the full breakdown of their investments prior to being in the White House were never broken down. But again, this isn't the first time the spouse of a candidate didn't release information. Teresa Heinz Kerry set the standards for this. She and John filed separate tax returns. When he was running the DNC leadership didn't have a problem with that. Now when it's a GOP candidate "they're trying to hide something". Give me a break. You whine about equal rights and policies but only when they benefit you.

        It was the media and the GOP that griped about Theresa NOT releasing her tax returns.
        THAT is the irony and the hypocrisy. There will not be another peep about this after this story dies.

        Sorry, she DID open her books. She published SOME of her 2003 tax return and the NYT did an extensive review of that data.
