FTA:
Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Rodham Clinton on Thursday rejected a compromise plan to seat Michigan's delegates to the national convention that would give 69 delegates to Clinton and 59 to Barack Obama.
Clinton's campaign has maintained that the delegation should be allocated according to the vote in the Jan. 15 primary (73/55) but Obama's campaign had argued the delegation should be split between the two candidates (64/64) because he was not on the ballot.
How can she demand the majority or all of the delegates in Michigan, when Obama wasn't even on the ballot? This woman has constantly cut her nose off to spite her face, and her mean spiritedness is ripping the democrat party to shreads.

Senator Clinton and everyone else agreed to the delegates anot being seated at the beginning of the game, now, as per usual, that things aren't all going her way, she wants to change the rules of the game, no,no,no, Hillary. This is exactly why the voters are tired of same old politics as usual. Manipulating the system for ones one benefit and self gain. She finished and everyone including Bill knows it. Did you see him during her "victory speech" after Indiana's primary? He so knows she's finished. Perhaps he should clue her in. She is making a total fool of herself here and the harder she tries, the worse she looks. We see her true colors shining through, we see her true colors and that's way we voted Obama true. I agree that every American's vote should be counted. MI and FL need to remove the legislators that botched this for them. Like Jimmy Carter said, Yes the votes should be counted , in 2012. I feel for the people left out, don't blame the candidates,

face it, if the shoe was on the other foot (Obama had a whole bunch of votes somewhere that weren't being counted) you KNOW you would be going on about the poor disenfranchised voters of whereever.
Face it, your great white leader, Howard Dean, shot the democratic party in the foot by threatening not to count the Florida and Michigan primaries and, now, the DNC is in a no-win situation. Despite what the Obama crowd says, there is no clear cut winner yet, they are neck and neck by many measures and there are two huge states (with lots of electoral votes) that are either going to be kicked to the curb, so they're peeved at the democratic party, or they are going to be counted, which is going tick off the Obama supporters to no end.
Go Howard!!
(and you guys think the dems are going to do much better than we've got at running the country when they can't even run a set of primaries?)

If she were trying to prove her leadership skills she would have challenged the DNC ruling BEFORE the election dates..NOT after!
This shows poor advisors and poor reaction to a potential "crisis'..In this case the "crisis" is her very candidacy.
No foresight equals bad leadership!

She is obsessed with this. It is totally consuming her, i certainly wouldn't want to be the person she directs her wrath toward at the end of the day.

I believe that the Peoples votes should be counted both in Michigan and Florida! What ever the votes tallied, should be the delegates preference. It was not the Peoples fault that someone broke the rules. Every American has the right to have their vote counted!
Thanks not2needy!

Even though Hillary likely got more votes in Florida due to name recognition, I could accept those votes as counting, however, in Michigan, Obama's name wasn't even on the ballot. The compromise solution is more than fair.

It does not matter what the two agreed to. What matters is that the people's votes must count.
Obama was the one that didn't put his name on the ballot in Michigan so he only has his own stupid self to blame for that.
The people must be heard. All of the people.
It should go all the way to the Supreme Court if necessary.

Bull. Hillary and Dennis Kucinich were the only ones who left their names ON the ballot there.
If you throw out all rules in the primaries, you end up with total anarchy, not absolute democracy.

a) Spoken as a true democrat?
b) Spoken as a true Democrat?
c) Both of the above?
d) Neither of the above?
I'll check d.

I doubt that this will ever go to the Supreme Court
The primaries are run by the parties under the rules the parties establish
I do agree that the voters are being punished for the stupidity of politicians in MI and FL
They simply should have run the primaries in those states again
I don't think it is ever a wise idea to ignore the voters in these states

the only person who cares is Hillary, because she has once again flipped on the dnc's omish of the states delegates. It is what ever fits her needs at that time, this is how she would run the country, by by hillary

You want them removed one at a time no matter what the order, and no matter what the reason..We know your motivation.
You have no interest in rules, so don't insult us!

A bit off the subject. Sue me.
If Hillary is indeed the most 'electable', why (oh why) does she keep having to inject her own money into her campaign? She's up to $11.4 mil. now! Meanwhile, Obama chugs along with primarily grass roots contributions. What does THAT tell the superdelegates?

One could also ask...If McCain is such a GREAT candidate why can't HE get money to run HIS campaign?

Clinton has gone WACKO.
Were she to bow out with class she could be a powerful mover in the Senate. As she is going, she will be soon buried under the mud that she is creating.
With this garbage, I can't even imagine any New Yorker voting for her for the Senate next time.

Count them. Give Obama the Uncommitted votes in Michigan, perhaps estimate what Edwards would have received, and then split it up like so. Maybe Edwards can get another delegate out of it. Short of that, redo the primaries.

Thats typical Democrat BS. Just like when they didn't want the military votes to count, now they are playing games with Michigan and Florida. Hillary and Obama had no right to say that they wouldn't count those votes to begin with.
We count ALL votes in America.
Those people came out to vote, and the votes should count. If Obama was so stupid as to not get on the ballot then why would I want the dummy for my President?
Just count the damn votes. Period.
The folks in Michigan and Florida are gonna be so mad if you don't count them that they will vote Republican in the general election. I know I would if I were them.
