Slumping economy: It's a guy thing »
Posted By TechnologyExpert 1 year, 6 months ago in Business & FinanceFrom last November through this April, American women aged 20 and up gained nearly 300,000 jobs, according to the household survey of the Bureau of Labor Statistics. As it says in the article: "While they're [women are] getting more jobs, their pay is stagnant"
Not only stagnant, but stagnant toward the lower end of the pay scale.
Basically, the Bush Economy is giving HUGE profits to the ultra-rich (e.g. Wall Street performance) and DECREASING pay to the workers that actually do something.
TRICKLE DOWN DOES'T TRICKLE DOWN: it just makes the ultra-rich richer.

You touch upon the real reason women are "gaining" jobs at the expense of men--they can be paid less. Replacing a worker with a lower-paid worker may provide some benefits to the employer, but it does nothing to help the economic plight of the American family.

What's all this Lib bullsh!t about a slumping economy? Didn't you read the latest figures that the GNP rose .6% ? C'mon. This was loudly trumpeted by Cons as irrefutable evidence that we are in a boom not a recession.
Of course, some financial experts, probably flaming libs, pointed out that anything less than 1.5% indicates recession, but what do you expect from damn liberals who just can't stand the prosperity we're enjoying.
Trickle Down DOES work! Give the super rich more money, steak, caviar, lobster, booze, wine and ale.
Look up! It's trickling down! It's yellow and brown - but it's trickling down like it always has, just as planned. Steak and lemonade - believe it!
