As far as I've been able to find, McCain only denounced one statement of Hagee's, the one about the Catholic church being the Great W**re. Apparently it's okay that Katrina was a punishment for gays, that confrontation with Iran is necessary to bring about the End Times, and that all Muslims are commanded to kill Christians and Jews.
Parsley is a whole other ball of wax. Man, that guy is a full-bore whack-job. What's next? McCain calling for the pardon of Kent Hovind?

Pope Benedict and the cleverness, intellectual rigor and theological precision that he has challenged both Muslim and Christian radicals, his adherence to international law as defined initially by Friar Francisco Suarez nearly 400 years ago, his wisdom in getting Priests out of the gospel of liberation and politics and back to moral guidance way ahead of the recent "evangelical manifest" that protestants have put together, and his efforts at reconciling muslim, christian and jewish scholars makes people like Hagee, Parsley and Wright look immoral, theologically ignorant, lacking in intelligence and delusional in general.

" his wisdom in getting Priests out of the gospel of liberation"
This isn't wisdom. It's politics. Liberation theology is perfectly compatable with Catholicism, thankfully, and Romero is a much better example of Orthopraxy than Benedict.
"his efforts at reconciling muslim, christian and jewish scholars makes people like Hagee, Parsley and Wright look immoral, theologically ignorant, lacking in intelligence and delusional in general."
True enough.

Give unto Caesar what is Caesars and unto God that which is God's.
liberation theology is not compatible with christian doctrine. Christ told his disciples to put their swords down. Judas betrayed him because he would not preach liberation from the Romans.
