Thunderstorms and tornadoes tore across the nation's heartland Saturday evening, killing at least 11 people, mangling buildings and trapping people in rubble in areas still reeling from other recent bouts with severe weather.

      There was some nasty weather in the Memphis area last weekend - mainly in Arkansas and Mississippi. But tonight there have been a few more possible tornadoes in the same area and in west Tennessee.

      We got slammed pretty good in February and a bit in March, and now more in May.

      It's been a pretty rough spring in the mid-south ....
