At least David Paterson and his wife both consented and knew of these affairs during the rough patch in their marriage.
Shouldn't David Vitter (R-LA) be forced out of office for confessing to hiring prostitutes from the DC madam--the EXACT crime for which Elliott Spitzer was forced out of office? Instead, he was greeted by the GOP WITH APPLAUSE.

--Sadly, when Democrats forgive the transgressions of their spouses, this often seems to enrage right wingers even more than the actual sin being forgiven. Consider right wing women as well as subhuman creatures like Katherine Harris, for a moment. Note that I said, "consider" them --not *visualize* or get an image of them in your head. Now, these disgusting, ignorant servile sheep who are willing to vote for McCain (a doddering, finger-counting, imbecile who isn't even afraid to tell them he believes women deserve to be paid less than men) despise Hillary Clinton. Why? Because she had the courage to keep private her feelings about her husbands moral failings. Oh, do the wingjob women hate Hillary. Why won't she melt down in public? How dare she allow this experience to make her stronger. Damn her! ;-x
