    Bkumm

If you can sit there an honestly say that you wouldn't call BS on a Democrat like, oh say, Barack Obama going over to Israel and calling President Bush and Senator McCain "appeasers" then you have something.

And I don't think you can do that"

Uhm ya mean like this ? Bkumm?

Kerry: U.S. A "Pariah" Nation Under Bush

Senator Blasts Administration For Failing To Properly Address Foreign Policy Issues

    DAVOS, Switzerland, Jan. 27, 2007

    http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2007/01/27/polit...

And if ya go to the article the Kerry is pictured with is Former President of Iran Mohammad Khatami,

"When we walk away from global warming, Kyoto, when we are irresponsibly slow in moving toward AIDS in Africa, when we don't advance and live up to our own rhetoric and standards, we set a terrible message of duplicity and hypocrisy," Kerry said.

"When we walk away from global warming, Kyoto, when we are irresponsibly slow in moving toward AIDS in Africa, when we don't advance and live up to our own rhetoric and standards, we set a terrible message of duplicity and hypocrisy," Kerry said.

"So we have a crisis of confidence in the Middle East â;; in the world, really. I've never seen our country as isolated, as much as a sort of international pariah for a number of reasons as it is today."â;¦

Kerry criticized what he called the "unfortunate habit" of Americans to see the world "exclusively through an American lens."

He said this while seated next to the former CEO of one of the world's foremost terrorist states, which as we speak is working on building nuclear weapons, bankrolling Hezbollah's efforts to foment civil war in Lebanon and Hamas's exterminationist jihad against Israel, and supplying Shiite militias with IEDs to kill American soldiers in Iraq.

Kerry also was accused by W of asking us to be "sensitive" to the terrorists, then Dumya not three months later said we need to better understand the terrorists which is what Kerry meant from the gitgo.

Injest, why not give the name of the Ceo that Kerry was supposedly siting by... so we can google how many times Cheney has had dinner and negotiations with him?

Apparently you didn't understand the statement Bkumm said,

            You completely missed the point.

The point is making these kind of statements OVERSEAS!

...the main context is Dumya saying one thing and finally realizing that he was wrong later! In this case its appeasing which sounds a lot like when he accused Kerry of being sensitive to the terrorists... Sorry, you have tunnel vision too!

I'm absolutely sure he knew he was in Israel. Did ya notice his words referenced WW2, Nazi Germany and never again?

The part about Chamberlain "peace in our time" appeasement.

                Do you know about WW2?

donald51, fliplops were out in the fall of '04 but they (and "Crocs," ironically enough) roared back into popularity this spring and the GOP electorate can't get enough of 'em. ;-P

you are grasping at straws injest.

Nothing wrong with the truth. It is anti-American lies that we protest and demand McCain denounce!

How would you feel if Edwards insinuated that Bush was like Hitler?

You would demand an apology from Edwards and demand Obama denounce Edwards` words, and reasonably so.

"Injest gets his revisionist history from folks like Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter!"

Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter are writing Obama's web site?

              From Obama's web site

Diplomacy: Obama is the only candidate who supports tough, direct presidential diplomacy with Iran without preconditions.

And where is your apology Donald?

...no apology to a fool who takes things out of context and, secondarily, can't accept a man who really is trying to be a uniter! Heaven forbid, I'd never apologize for respecting a man's idealism. At least Obama has the courage to want to attempt it... far mare balls than Dumya has shown on anything!

              "Nothing wrong with the truth"

So why the problem with stating the obvious?

Obama has stated many time that he is willing to engage in direct presidential diplomacy with Iran without preconditions.

                > Obama has stated many time that he is willing to engage in direct presidential diplomacy with Iran without preconditions.

                Links plz.

Here, let me restate the obvious. Bush has crossed the line on decency in campaigns and owes Obama and America an apology. McCain, instead of rising about the character assassinations and negative campaigning he promised to avoid, jumped right on board.

McCain needs to explain why he has not denounced Bush`s words. Even conservatives like Tucker Carlson are attacking both Bush and McCain over this ridiculous and transparent attempt to pull a swiftboat.

Here`s more stating the obvious. I have heard Obama say he will engage in direct presidential diplomacy with conditions, several times.

Funny thing, McCain says the same thing when you get past the all-hat, no cattle rhetoric. Even today McCain said he would engage in discussions with Iran, oh the appeaser! lol.

''Obama has stated many time that he is willing to engage in direct presidential diplomacy with Iran without preconditions''

talking is not appeasing, as bk pointed out

                  talking is talking

diplomacy with preconditions is not diplomacy

its cart before the horse diplomacy

its not inclusive, which is sort of the point of true diplomacy

I mean really, 'do as we say first and then we'll talk'

where is the incentive to talk then?

                  ---

'' Obama has stated many time that he is willing to engage in direct presidential diplomacy with Iran without preconditions.''

Obviously Obama should be tossed in jail for even suggesting such a thing.

much better to call them 'a rogue state' 'axis of evil' and accuse them of sponsoring use of IED's in Iraq with no proof, and keep up the war rhetoric

                  Now THATS diplomacy
