it already is. we`ve seen the same one-sided, hypocritical hair-splitting, character assassination attempts from the Right in every election for the last decade or more.
To the author:

Hey Sherlock, you`re wrong about small-town Americans not voting Dem, we are brother, we are!!
We`ve had enough of the elitist crooks transferring our wealth to the cronies, lobbyist, war mongers, and political ******s.
Obama represents our first chance in many elections to elect a president who is not beholden to the right-wing or left-wing establishment.
If any con cared about constitutional rights, they never would have voted for Bush in the first or second place, and they sure as heck wouldn`t be considering McCain.
