    Well I'm not voting for any politician who backs out on selling his soul to the demon god mammon! I like to know where I stand with my I'm - Going - To - Pretend - They're - Elected representatives!

      Right! These are deals mutually arrived at. Personal conscience should not be a barrier to living up to them.

      On a more practical level, maybe the lobbyisits can take out ads in newspapers to shame the politicians into keeping their agreements. I realize that voluntary compliance is much better, but sometimes all those guys understand is force.
