I wonder if this was a senior moment that caused McCain to screw up this bad. I mean there is no way he would put so much attention on Obama being willing to talk to Hamas, if he had actually remembered that he himself said he would as well not all that long ago..

McCain might not be so keen after he finds out folks are phone banking for Obama:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=21YF7ggCG6g
"Ahmed Yousef, a political adviser of the anti-Israel terrorist group Hamas said Hamas supports Obama last Sunday.
"We don't mindâ;;actually we like Mr. Obama. We hope he will (win) the election and I do believe he is like John Kennedy, great man with great principle, and he has a vision to change America to make it in a position to lead the world community but not with domination and arrogance," Yousef said in an interview on WABC radio.
In recent days, Obama's position on the Isreali-Palestinian conflict has been scrutinized. One of his Middle East advisers, Robert Malley, resigned over the weekend after reporters found Malley had met with Hamas."

well age is pretty fair game slate. We do not allow a president under a certain age, so what is wrong with debating about a president being too old? It's a medical fact that people wear down with age, especially in their 70's. Tie it in with his medical history, and i think it's a pretty vital question that everyone should be talking about, regardless of political party.

It may be, if only you on the left could talk about the issue with out just tossing out cheap shots.
Heck FDR was only 63 when he died.
Lincoln, FDR and Kennedy all three had medical issues; those three names are the most respected in US politics.
You talk about being senile and gaffs, yet if you look at all the boneheaded things both of the 'young' Democrats have said, one can say that their youth got the best of them. When were the other seven states added Mr. Obama? Surely, an Ivy Leaguer, that's a Lawyer and sitting in congress would know how many states we have? I don't if his 'age' has anything to do with it, but dang.
Hey Hillary what did those bullets sound like when they buzzed past your ear? Pretty scary sound isn't it? And that's just two of the many.

I'll see if I can find an extra copy of the 2008 daily calendar "The Goeroge W Bush Out of office Countdown" for you.
Talk about gaffs - and I don't think they are senility, I think they are just dumb - there is one a day by Bush, for 365 days!
"We need to apply twenty-first century information technology to the health care field. We need to have our medical records put on the I.T."
"And one of the things we've got to make sure that we do is anything."
"The Bob Jones policy on interracial dating ... I spoke against that. I spoke out against interracial dating. I support the policy of interracial dating."
"If the Iranians were to have a nuclear weapon they could proliferate."
"I understand small business growth. I was one."
"I know how hard it is to put food on your family."
"One year ago today, the time for excuse-making has come to an end".
What an eloquent, brilliant man W is ...

Remember that McCain was against the administration's policy on torture until he supported it. I remember McCain and Warner speaking against the use of torture on captive but McCain then help pass a bill in congress to let Bush, Cheney, and all their cabinet members off the hook for war crimes retroactively.
