And now for the coup de grâce:
http://politics.propeller.com/story/2007/11/18/...
SONOFTHEMASK: "McCain is a good man, but I think he's past his prime. I admire his perseverance and his service to our country, but I don't know about his capacity to be President for four years. I'm starting to listen to Mike Huckabee. I didn't know him that well. He seems like a straight shooter and a good guy. Some won't like his strong Christian background, but that is a plus for me personally."
http://politics.propeller.com/story/2008/01/22/...
SONOFTHEMASK: "Thompson poached votes from Huckabee. Whether or not it was deliberate to help McCain, I don't know, but I do know that McCain and Thompson are big wigs among the Republican old guard, so it wouldn't surprise me."
Something tells me SONOFTHEMASK is in ANY position to accuse ANYONE of flip flopping.
LOL.

LOL! What flip flop do you think you're demonstrating to us, ybd? I still feel exactly the same way and there's nothing "flip-floppery" about it. McCain is a good man, I do think he's past his prime. Just as Aidenag notes below, his age is a subject worth considering. I do think Huckabee is a straight shooter. I do think Thompson was the direct impact that took away Huckabee votes; I'm hardly alone in that analysis. I don't think the party old guard was enamored of Huck for his populism. It wouldn't surprise me if Thompson stayed in at the behest of party bigwigs to neutralize Huck's attractiveness.
No flip flops there! Coup de grace? I think you'd better examine that term to see if it means what you think it means.
Hey, by the way, how'd you like that Hillary LANDSLIDE over Obama. Wonder why it was called a landslide?
LOL, didn't know you were such a fan of my posts. Good for you.

"Hey, by the way, how'd you like that Hillary LANDSLIDE over Obama. Wonder why it was called a landslide?"
Actually, I'm still waiting for your documentation. My claim was that the term "landslide" was used subjectively. You seem to think it's a technical term with a set definition. Well, by all means, you're welcome to prove it as you haven't successfully done so already.
LOL.
SOTF:
"What flip flop do you think you're demonstrating to us, ybd?"
What do you think I was demonstrating? LOL. Can't you read your own posts. You were against McCain before you were for McCain.
FYI, your flip floppery was found within a 5-minute search. It was certainly not that difficult, which leads me to believe this is just one of MANY examples of your flip floppery floating on the web.
"Pwned." LOL.

Wrong now just as before when we spoke about landslides. I think you're wrong so often that you can't tell the difference.
I wasn't against McCain, I was concerned that his age was an issue. Maybe you should try reading it again and see it for what it was and not what you desperately want it to be.
Hey, I'll give you back that word you used to like so much...
PATHETIC

SOTM:
"Wrong now just as before when we spoke about landslides."
Still waiting for your proof documenting that the term "landslide" is a technical term and was not being used subjectively. Of course, only a partisan hack would attempt to cite Nixon's 96.6% to 3.2% electoral college election win as a "20% margin." It sounds like another case of you quoting truncated excerpts out of context.
LOL.
SOTM:
"I wasn't against McCain, I was concerned that his age was an issue."
LOL. Right. You were never against McCain's election to the presidency. You just thought he was past his prime, thought McCain was too old to last 4 years, opposed McCain seeking re-election (if he actually ended up winning a first term), and accused Fred Thompson and John McCain of colluding in some questionably-ethical election trickery.
Yup, it certainly sounds like you were always McCain's biggest fan. LOL.
Pathetic.
And once again, "Pwned."

LOL, grasping at straws ybd. I never said McCain was my favorite candidate. I've said from the beginning that I thought his age was an issue, as you've noted. I haven't changed that position. However, he is the presumptive Republican presidential nominee. And while I remain concerned about his age, I'd much rather vote for him and run the risk of his possible physical frailty than vote for Obama just cuz he's younger. LOL.
No flip-floppery on my part at all, despite your desperation. Just pathetic grasping at straws on you part. Keep trying, it's funny and I'm bored otherwise.

I don't have to try, as it is YOU who is attempting to defend your own words in vain. But your words speak for themselves. You can try talking yourself into pretzels all you want. It's certainly amusing seeing you try to deny what is available in plain text for everyone to see and judge for themselves. And what is clear from your previous posts is this:
You were against McCain before you were for McCain. Period.
LOL.
Pathetic.

LOL...you want to read nuance into something that isn't nuanced at all (Obama's reply to Cooper on the subject of a personal, unconditional meeting with leaders of rogue states)
but then,
You don't want to see nuance where it does exist. I stand behind everything I stated. McCain was NOT my first choice, that's the truth. The fact that I support him now is based on the comparison to his likely opponent.
It's not different than all those people who are supporting Hillary right now that will vote for Obama. Obama was not their first choice, but they'll vote for him. Is that flip-flopping? If so, boy howdy!!! The Dems are even more full of flip-floppers than we thought!!
HAHAHAHA!!! Stick in a fork in the "dog", folks, he's done (again).

Most of these Clinton supporters did not accuse Obama of election fraud the way you accused John McCain and Fred Thompson of collusion against Huckabee. LOL. It's one thing to have a valid objection to a candidate's political position, but it's quite another to accuse a candidate of ethically-questionable collusion to win an election.
Any more lame excuses? Or is this the best you have?
LOL.

Huckabee wasn't supported by the Republican political machine. He and Paul said a few things that the GOP didn't like so McCain is their best bet to fall in line and carry on the present failed policies of the present administration.

Landslide? She isn't even on the page anymore, and the sad thing is, she refuses to acknowledge it. The longer she goes on the sadder she becomes. I always knew she had no dignity and she once again is showing her total lack of it. This woman thrives on public humiliation and how anyuone could cast a vote for her is beyond my comprehension.
