John McCain versus Barack Obama. It's odd, in a sense, that we've come to this. Not since 1940...has a candidate so uncredentialed (Obama) topped a national ticket.

FTA: "Even Adlai Stevenson, Robert Dole and Jimmy Carter, as relatively minor as were their qualifications for headship of the world's No. 1 nation, had held significant positions longer than the junior senator from Illinois. Even George W. Bush had!"

      Dont forget!

in 2000, we nominated a bona fide draft dodger, admitted cocaine user, alcoholic, and proud example of mediocrity.

His first real job was bein appointed as bein a member of the Board of Directors of an oil company for the EXPLICIT purpose of winning an oil contract in Saudi Arabia.

He finagled hisself a baseball team ... then extorted the city of Arlington to build the stadium for him and his buddies by RAISIN TAXES!!

Not only that... but he used Emminent Domain to STEAL 200 acres from middle class citizens to boot!

Now you may all wonder how could we Christian Conservatives POSSIBLY vote for a man with such paltry 'credentials'.

      Simple.

He said he was borned again!

Boy! I dont think we should do THAT again, do yall?

You're right. With Mr. Obama being an example of mediocrity and an admitted cocaine user, let's think hard...and don't forget, Mr. Obama "was borned again" in the halls of TUCC with the Wrong Reverend Wright.

God DAMN America!!! U.S. of KKK A!!!

You know that Hagee wasn't McCain's pastor. McCain huckstering for an endorsement from Hagee is the same as Obama huckstering to the Teamsters or Edwards. They're looking for an opinion-swinger that will garner votes. You know it, don't be silly.

That's far different than Mr. Obama to voluntarily choose to associate with the Wrong Reverend Wright for 20 YEARS as his personal spiritual leader. You know, Rev Wright who STILL thinks that HIV/AIDS is a US government plot against blacks. Rev Wright who deplored black-on-black violence because it was targeting the WRONG folks...namely WHITE PEOPLE. You know, Rev Wright who said from the pulpit that the Clintons were giving it to the American people and demonstrated by imitating the ole back-n-forth for his congregation? Yeah, that guy.

That's the relationship that Mr. Obama about-faced on several times. See my other recent submission on the subject. Learn something.

You've got to love a comment that starts with a misstated reference to Catholics used strictly for shock value and then subsequently ends with a reference to a diversionary tactic.

Right Goppy. Just like comparing Hagee and Wright on almost every comment. You know the comparison isn't valid and you keep doing it. Now there's good spin and diversion!

                Hey Einstein speaking of diversion.........

did you miss the latest McCain Hagee joint press conference where

HAGEE APOLOGIZED TO CATHOLICS and McCain in front of Hagee announced that there are many positions that he disagrees with Hagee

                http://blogs.wsj.com/washwire/2008/05/13/mccain...

                http://dunningrb.wordpress.com/2008/05/13/hagee...

                http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/archive/2008/05/...

where is Wrights apology? and why no joint Obama Wright where Obama proclaims in front of Wright that he has issues with many of Wright statements and beliefs........

funny how this incident has received so little attention by the MSM.............of course what could one expect with the unbiased comments of Chris "I get a tingling sensation up my leg every time I hear Obama speak" Matthews and Vanilla Ices' separated at birth twin brother Keith Ubermoron....

            "Even George W. Bush had!"

Anyone who says George Bush held a significant position before being president, is unfamiliar with the Texas constitution.

The Governor of Texas is a figurehead; all real authority is elsewhere, by deliberate design.

            He owned a baseball team ( dad's money )

He ran a couple of oil projects into the ground.

He had nothing when he ran for prez but his name and a goofy smile.

Obama has been a Senator; a best-selling author; and for four years already he has endured the national slings and arrows of outrageous articles like this.

You are forgetting the new Republican slogan: "Change You Deserve".

            Hillariously unoriginal; but I don't think it is vague enough. I am sure there is a threat there against America;

            these people are getting hostile.

The polls reflect this. I keep posting this web site that daily updates the projection with the latest polls.

            http://electoral-vote.com/

It seems that if everybody went to vote now McCain beats Obama but loses to Clinton. The reason for the super delegates not to throw the nomination to Clinton is they fear that the black vote would stay home. That would give it to McCain. They think they lose no matter what.

            I love it.

These articles always say at the end, something like:

'So and So is a fellow at the Family Forum for Heritage Eagles'

Do 'fellows' get a paycheck? Do they also have real jobs?

In this case I googled the writer: Bill Murchison. A creationist kicked out of Baylor for being too reactionary, he spends retirement writing articles that tell far right-wingers that they aren't far right enough.

That's not much. What we have here, people, is jealousy.

Obama is a young man of dubious origin who has become a US Senator with 2 best-sellers and a Grammy, who has already successfully surfed the terrible waves of national politics for years.

Mr. Murchison, on the other hand, is unqualified to write anything about Obama's qualifications, except that Obama has an irreducible complexity.

Obama isn't finishing the primaries strong - he acts like a football team that has a lead and is running out the clock.

I have my doubts about McCain, both as a campaigner and with his policies. But without some appeal to working class whites in the Midwest/Border South, it's hard to see how Obama can win in November.

My problem with Jaun McCain is his stance on immigration. I saw him on TV today and he is still pandering to both sides of the aisle. CHECK OUT NUMBERS USA THEY ARE AT IT AGAIN.........TRYING TO SNEAK ANOTHER AMNESTY BILL PAST US.

AMNESTY WARNING. PLEASE TAKE IMMEDIATE ACTION.

We have just learned that sellout Senators Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) and Larry "bathroom" Craig (R-Idaho)have successfully inserted the "Ag Jobs" amnesty components into a defense spending bill.

This amendment has been accepted by the Senate Appropriations Committee and has been added to an Iraq War spending bill.

They could vote on the spending bill today or tomorrow. If the bill passes with this language included it will grant a form of AMNESTY to millions of illegal aliens working on farms. Call and fax at the numbers site for free.

He also has a problem with the carbon cap and trade scheme

It originally was the McCain-Lieberman bill but McCain's name has been removed - afraid to accept responsibility for the consequences perhaps.

It is now the Lieberman-Warner Climate Security Act (S. 2191)

Senators Warn Bill Could Spike Gas $1.50 to $5 a Gallon

Inhofe, Sessions blast massive costs of global warming legislation.

Worried about gas prices hitting $4 a gallon and beyond? Imagine if they were $6, $7 or even $8 a gallon. Those levels are a certain possibility should Congress pass cap-and-trade legislation, which could face a vote in early June.

RRJ, I still shake my head and wonder. Why is this the best they can give us? I mean seriously, are we to far gone from reality that we have to put up with this?

I do not know about the rest of you. But with these 3 top tier canidates they are telling us to vote for. If this is the best they can give us. We are in for a long haul down the well of despair. None of these canidates are going to change anything. And if they do change something it will be more rights thrown away.

All of them who screamed we are losing our rights. These are the 3 canidates you have been screaming about. But did not know it just yet.

This is why we have been going through this for 2 years now. They wanted the illegal immigration problem put on the back burner, wanted you to forget. And this was the best way. Get all of us fighting over a canidate.

But here is the real reason why you have been fighting this whole time. They wanted to get this bill passed without you knowing about it.

For some unknown reason the (working) middle class in this nation think they are still important to politicos. They actually are until the voting is over, then they are legislated against mercilessly. The whole object of uncontrolled inward migration is to lower the cost of labor for the corporate class. If this trend continues it will be a choice between eating and having a roof over your head. Pay attention now or pay harshly in a few more years.

OMG, We certainly have an interesting gathering in here, now don't we? Voting just to vote against someone else is utterly counter productive and just plain STUPID!!! Research the candidates on policy and issues (obviously some of us have) and vote on those stances, please don't vote, just to vote against someone. Voting is about choosing a president, not backdooring.

Well Bamababy some of us have researched the candidates and found the 3 in the running to be unacceptable

And you are correct - the 3 candidates "sicken me to my very core"

Well, gee thanks for your advice and your rhetoric but I and most here have researched the candidates. I'm voting for McLame because he is the least of the worst. He may be a democrat but he pledges to appoint conservative judges to the court, he wants to make Bush's tax cuts permanent, he will finish in Iraq, and he wants to cut spending. I will have to ignore his faults, which are many. The other two are liberal Marxists not many differences between them.

If I could believe McCain's 2013 promises were serious I'd consider voting for him. I, personally, have no reason to believe him any more then Senator Obama. More and more the Libertarian ticket looks more appealing but Senator Obama, on the Democratic side, seems far more genuine then Senator Clinton.

Its also the problem of Senator McCain if this feeling is shared by many others.
