Let the opponents fight all they want. Common sense will indeed prevail. When the earth does not swallow California for allowing gay marriage, the idiotic zealots will be exposed for the loonies that they are. No one can explain how gay and lesbian couples wedding one another will damage or change hetero marriages. Will it make straight couples less married? Will it "water down" the sanctity of marriage? I figure divorce and death are the two leading causes of marriages ending, but I might be wrong.
