Well of course it is. They've spent 30 years dismantling it. That's why they need to be turned off between tirades so the public can get the gist of what the other guy is trying to say.

  What makes it worse is that the right has never offered much in the way of argument for their blockheaded approach other than that the "liberal media" had an unfair advantage.

    Yes, that urban legend about the 'liberal media' isn't going to die easily. If sound bite rhetoric were made illegal, half the country would be mighty quiet.
