I don't know about that Codi, I agree there is no immunity from scandal from the dems but the ratio is staggering, for every dem caught in a precarious position it seems there are 100 republicans doing really deviate precarious things- look at this list-

This is why it's called the Republican Culture of Corruption.
I don't expect saints to seek public office, but how about just disallowing child molesters and other criminals?

  That truly sickened me. We need to get these people out of office and do a better background search on them before they are ever elected.

  Bull, You had better find a better source then your left wing site. Democrats don't prosecute other Democrats. They allow them to stay in office or cover for them. Both are just as guilty, but at least Republicans will call for actions against there own. Democrats just giggle and say oops, sorry, what is your definition of "is".
