Funny enough, the idea for the devotional came to me last night, and then today our preacher's message was all about the darkness and the light. I suppose it reassured me that I was headed in the right direction with this topic.

By the way, I meant to include this passage in the article, but I started looking for the video and forgot about it. So, here it is now:

11And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

12His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

13And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

14And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

15And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

16And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

      (Revelation 19, KJV)

That was a wonderful message and prayer! I find the book of Revelation very difficult to understand in parts. My pastor is doing a good job of explaining to where I can understand the book more!

And thank you for the beautiful music! I am going to forward this to a friend of mine who just became the widow of one of my best friends.

Keep up the good work, Brett!

I love that song by Casting Crowns, "The Word is Alive".

                The Word IS indeed ALIVE.

Yeah, that song quickly became one of my favorites when I first heard it. I think the lyrics are really awesome.

And the jewish mythology lives, and the worship of your half jew, half god continues.

However, there is no evidence for an afterlife. No evidence for a historical half jew, half god. No evidence for any of the jewish fairy tales you worship as if they were literally true.

There is no evidence, no one shred, for any of the thousands of gods gullible morons have prayed to for the millions of years humans have been crawling around fighting religious wars on this planet.

There is ample evidence, however, that prayer does not work, in hundreds of double blind studies, mainly focusing on hospital patients, but you can extrapolate to all prayer.

Sorry, Wall mart shoppers, to shine light on your delusional circle jerk.

                          Midleft, you are back!

What is this, your third screen name in as many weeks? Are the mods being too hard on you? Not letting you spew your hate and insults?

You keep regurgitating the "no evidence" argument, like that closes the book on the issue. And you fail to respond every single time someone challenges you on it. Why is that?

100 years ago, there was no evidence of so much that we "know" now. 300 years ago, there was no evidence of even more. Yet look at what we know today! Who knows what we will know tomorrow.

You would be better off spending your time getting a new argument and thinking up your next screen name, since Im sure your hate will get you banned again very soon.
