I was wondering when you were going to get to the insult part. War on Eskimos was a shot on the absurdity of fighting a war on terror. Maybe here's a better example. We've been fighting a war on drugs for how many years now? Have we won? Will we ever completely eradicate drug use in the U.S.? We're fighting a concept here. We're fighting a set of beliefs and ideas. How do you win? Is the military the solution? Or does it take some other tactic? We think that the solution to all our problems in the world is a military one. Unfortunately for us, it's not. The military is just one of the tools to get the job done. Can't change a flat with a sledgehammer.
