I guess I really don't understand how one can be proud of something they have little or no control over. I was born here,was not a choice, if I had a choice, I probably would pick USA but that's not the point. I am proud of certain people here, proud of some of my own accomplishments. I care deeply about America, it's my home,I don't know, maybe I should look more closely at the definitions of being proud....
there have been times I fight feelings of being ashamed of America and I have to remember to keep the blame where it belongs, which is usually the Gov or some big greedy entity here, and not the typical American. How hard that must be for others in other countries to keep that in mind also.
