Karl Rove's sly deal with Fox »
Posted By Aidenag 1 year, 5 months ago in NewsFox News hosts routinely introduce Rove as a "former senior advisor to President Bush," "the architect," a "political wizard" and a "famed political consultant." But never has he been introduced as he should be -- as an informal advisor and maxed-out donor to John McCain's presidential campaign.

As minister of propaganda for the Bush regime Rove has proven himself to be one of the greatest political manipulaters and dirty tricksters in the business.
It is truly a shame that he didn't use his great talents for the benefit of mankind.

From this story: http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20080521/pl_nm/usa_p...
"A Reuters/Zogby poll released on Wednesday showed Obama, an Illinois senator, opening an 8-point national lead on Republican John McCain as Americans grow more anxious about their economic prospects and the country's direction.
The number of Americans who believe the country is on the right track fell from 23 percent to an abysmal 16 percent, as uncertainty about the economy and rising gas prices fueled growing doubts about the future."

Just further proof of the demise of the Media. What ever happened to journalism? Now we have two people with opposing viewpoints who just try to yell over one another, or we have people with stake in the matter telling us what to think or we have a horse race - she said he said kind of thing.

Rupert Murdoch was never mainstream media. He built his fortune on scandal rags and bought his way to legitimate outlets, then turned them into scandal rags and political operatives (like Faux News).
As for Rove, this should not surprise anyone. But it should be loudly disclosed as proof that McCain would be just a third term for Shrub. As if we could not figure that out from "Bomb, bomb, bomb, Bomb, bomb Iran."
Any mud he can sling at Obama or Clinton should be dismissed as McCain propaganda, because propaganda is all Rove can do. He's a one-trick pony and his trick is bitterness and dirty tricks.

Fox news and the Bush administration, its the same thing.
Unbelivable how these neocon facists came to power. The damage they've done, and the damage they continue to do.
Point of view journalism. Ad hominem attack. Destroy science and rationalism. Promote theocracy, creationism, and religious wars. 4300 dead young americans. 30,000 severly injured. Tony Snow, Carl Rove, Shotgun Dick, and the Chimpanzee.
These people are unprincipled relativists, they are the junction of neocon and evangelical theology.

That Rove supports McCain is hardly news. Ditto that he's contributed to his campaign.
As loathsome as the (porcine) Mr. Rove is, it strikes me that "full disclosure" of his situation would in this instance be academic. What viewer of his Fox News hosting would rethink his or her opinion of Mr. Rove's "talking points" by such a revelation?
Fox is not exactly noted for the catholicism of its viewers--and those non-choir members tuning in wouldn't embrace Rove anyway.

So the neocon bush administration and Fox australian billionaire Murdock is attacking General Electric and Microsoft NBC as they broadcast from the Rockefeller/GE building from New York, where accross the steet is the Wall Street Journal, now also owned by the News Corporations owner, Murdock, publisher of the Weekly Standard.
The fourth leg of democracy is done. GAME OVER.
The american democracy is bought and sold and gamed by the subversive 100% zionist owned and operated american media, both right and left, movies, magazines, newspapers, TV programming and news, radio, even this netscape/AOL/Time Warner.
The game is now American Capatilism. Its the new religion that evangelicals and neocons worship.
Oh well, what the f..., I give up, yes, I'm a beliver, God created the universe 4000 years ago. Praise the lord, and praise his only son, the half jew/half god. All praise the baby demi-god. Let the rapture begin, call in the air strikes.

Is there hate there, or dislike, or a different combo of the above??

Karl Rove made the comment that he knew the secret to winning the 2008 election, but that he wouldn't share it with anyone but the repug nominee. As long as Karl Rove is allowed to interfere or be a part of the political process in this country, we will NEVER have another fair election. The course has been set, and the democrats are just sitting back and letting it happen.

This "man" is a weasel and deserves a gun shot to the face. His lies, fraud, and destructive politics has ruined this country, the republican party, conservatives amonst many other things.
Karl Rove is NOT important, relevant, and intelligent. He is a weasel, a louse and a piece of dung.
He needs to be in jail for lying about the Valerie Plame case.
His scumbag politics, along with Cheney's is facist in nature, anti human in approach and childish to say the least.
Drop dead rove.

But what could the Dems do, Not2, to prevent Rove from enacting his "winning" strategy (see above)?
This is a real question.
Co-opt imagined Rove tactics--that is, take them for their own?
Do whatever smear-proofing they can? But, you know, once the horse is out of the barn....
I suppose the only remedy is, in best Boy Scout fashion, to be prepared....
..'cause Rovian smearfear is item #1 on the Repub's agenda.
