I don't think it's sad, rather, it's very happy. To record any special moments of one's daily life is a celebration of that life.
Here's hoping to even come close to doing the same with my own photography, I would love to do it as well.
Reminds me also of the movie Smoke, but at least it has wide variety of subject material, even if it was a resolve to take a minimum of one photo each day, including simply a photo of a piece of paper with the date on it....

gosh! When you reading this post, it is similar like you watching a movie! Really nice and very moving post. I almost started tearing at the end.. thank you a lot cactushair that is really very and very impressive..
