Lets be pre-emptive and take care of those non-compliant (with OUR mandates)Iranian dogs.
Its proven to be wildly successful in the recent past.
You drive a fine bargain, lib.
Can we expect your best Slim Pickens riding the Big Boy as he drops from the B2B?

I guess that you're right. We should let them do what North Korea and Pakistan do...develop nuclear technology then sell it to the highest bidder.

Exactly...And for that matter, who is the "they" we keep hearing about? We keep hearing the Ahmadinejad quote regurgitated by people who seem to conveniently forget John McCain's re-mixed version of "Barbara Ann" or our own threat to bomb Pakistan "back to the stone age." Right wingers love to trot out their one-sided view as taught to them by Hannity and Rush.

The "Barbara Ann" is from 1979 When Iran took our Embassy and people hostage, an act of war, and the pathetic excuse for a prez Jimmy Carter whined for 444 days.
Oops strike that 444 days. He's never stopped
mesodude if ya haven't figured it out yet that was the start of Jihad against the west

--I'll take a President who whines for the release of hostages over one who whines for oil and begs for money to slaughter people ANY day.

If Carter had slaughtered some people, the Iranians would never have kidnapped our embassy staff.

The Saudis are one of the countries threatening to start a nuclear weapons program now that Iran is doing it. Other countries in the region are threatening the same. This is a destabilizing move on Iran's part.

"Threatening"?
They calling you on the Batphone with these grave and serious 'threats' to the most unstable region on the planet, for what,..centuries?
You sound just like Dumby, make it up as you go along, the loyal legions of Nationalistic incompetents will keep you afloat when merit fails.

The Saudis have the financial resources for a major nuclear program. Being more shrill in your Munich-style diplomacy doesn't make your more convincing.

Why should we be proactive? Waiting for dictators to become overwhelmingly powerful is par for the course with the Left.

ML, you chicken sh*t, fifth columnists like you would refuse to defend this country under any circumstances. You would give nukes to everyone except the U.S. You'd rather fight Conservatives than our nation's enemies. What a Libtarded coward you are, evil and treasonous.

Maybe Iran has the right to show us what will happen to us if we invade them like we invaded Iraq and Afghanistan. Just a thought... ;-(

Yep. Let's see:
Country A has a whack-job brutal repressive dictator, a strong anti-West stance, a long history of flouting U.N. mandates, a large reserve of oil, but no nukes.
Country B has a whack-job brutal repressive dictator, a strong anti-West stance, a long history of flouting U.N. mandates, no reserve of oil, but has nukes.
Country A (Iraq) gets invaded and occupied for 5 years and counting. Country B (N. Korea) gets diplomacy. Hell, why WOULDN'T a country bust their butt to get the Bomb, especially if they had a large reserve of oil?

I think you misunderstood me.
I'm not fear mongering. I don't think war with Iran is either justified or inevitable. I'm saying it is irrational to think that Iran shouldn't pursue nukes given the imperialistic tendencies the US has shown in regards to Iraq.

Look, if the US wants to be the police force for the entire world then we shouldn't be so capricious about it. We gave Iran an example where we chose diplomats over bombs and I can see how it might seem the deciding factors were oil and nukes.
I'm not saying N. Korea is freaking Disneyland, for crying out loud!
