I don't see the big deal here, all he did was name the wrong camp. It's nothing like Hillary's sniper-gate fiasco as libsrfunny suggests. It's not like he lied or anything, he just named the wrong camp...

    and that Roosevelt talked to Hitler and Tojo, and that Kennedy didn't have to go to the brink of nuclear war with the Russians, and that Truman was talking to Stalin who by the way was an ally of ours at the time, and that Truman opened up dialogue with the Koreans totally ignoring that little skirmish known a the Korean War.......and then he accused everyone who can not see the genius that is Barack as being a bunch of gun toting, duck hunting, fly fishing, boilermaker drinking, flag saluting, pledge of allegiance reciting, bible thumping, praying, clinging, bitter, genital scratching, shoe less, illiterate, knuckle dragging bunch of Neanderthals...I don't know if it is humanly possible to put one's foot in one's mouth any more that this guy has........
    but it has all been taken out of context by that shameless, corrupt, vast, right wing conspiracy..........

    Both the Washington Post and the Associated Press reported this weekend on John McCain's speech before the Naional Rifle Association, where he ridiculed barack Obama for allegedly suggesting that you hunt guns with a six-shooter. The Post reported:
    During his speech, McCain ridiculed Obama's knowledge of guns and hunting by quoting a recent comment Obama made about using a "six-shooter" in a duck blind. "Someone should tell Senator Obama that ducks are usually hunted with shotguns," McCain said to laughter and applause.
    The Associated Press reported it like this:
    Clinton also criticized Obama for the remark, prompting Obama to accuse the former first lady "like she's on the duck blind every Sunday, packin' a six-shooter!"
    As the NRA audience laughed, McCain said: "Someone should tell Senator Obama that ducks are usually hunted with shotguns."

      But as I pointed out Friday, Obama did not say that. McCain was misquoting him. What Obama said was:
      She's talking like she's Annie Oakley. Hillary Clinton's out there like she's on the duck blind every Sunday. She's packing a six-shooter. C'mon, she knows better.

      McCain, at a town hall in Fort Myers, said Friday: ``Now, one of my opponents wanted to set a date for withdrawal that would have meant disaster.''
      He was talking about Romney, and linked the former Massachusetts governor to Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton, who has said she would begin to withdraw troops within 60 days of becoming president, if elected in November.
      ``If we surrender and wave a white flag, like Senator Clinton wants to do, and withdraw, as Governor Romney wanted to do, then there will be chaos, genocide, and the cost of American blood and treasure would be dramatically higher.''

      THE FACTS:
      Romney never embraced the idea of a public withdrawal date. When Clinton and other Democrats sought a public date or timetable last year, Romney said in an interview that the U.S. should have timetables, but not public ones.
      Here is the quote McCain cited, from ABC's ``Good Morning America'' in April 2007.
      Question: ``Do you believe that there should be a timetable in withdrawing the troops?''
      Romney: ``Well, there's no question that the president and Prime Minister (Nouri) al-Maliki have to have a series of timetables and milestones that they speak about. But those shouldn't be for public pronouncement. You don't want the enemy to understand how long they have to wait in the weeds until you're going to be gone. You want to have a series of things you want to see accomplished in terms of the strength of the Iraqi military and the Iraqi police, and the leadership of the Iraqi government.''

    So again what have we got, two candidates looking to become POTUS, who can be misquoted or make mis-quotes.....so what, they are human.
    Nothing in these or any other misquote found is an indication of their character, just smoke screens.
    Where are their comments or views on , the economy, illegals, health care, housing, Iraq, Afghanistan, where the hell is OBL,and not misquotes but some meat to fight about
