Dunkin' Donuts yanks Rachael Ray ad »
Posted By daducha 1 year, 6 months ago in NewsDoes Dunkin' Donuts really think its customers could mistake Rachael Ray for a terrorist sympathizer? The Canton-based company has abruptly canceled an ad in which the domestic diva wears a scarf that looks like a keffiyeh, a traditional headdress worn by Arab men.

I sure hope you're right. I hope whoever made this decision at Dunkin Douts pays a heavy price for being such a coward.
I expect this sort of carefully-calculated outrage from professional bully and attention ****** Michelle Malkin, but for a company like Dunkin Donuts to cave so quickly and so completely to such an obviously ludicrous complaint is really disturbing.

So, let me get this straight.........Dunkin' Donuts was
taking photographs of a suspected terrorist - at the least
someone attired as a person of interest - in front of a state government building? Uh-oh! Have they readied a room at Guantanamo yet?
While the EPA is CONTEMPLATING how to keep our water supply
safe from deliberate contamination, we get distracted by
this ridiculous newsflash! Why am I not feeling safer??

This is the dumbest complaint I heard in a while. If wearing a keffiyeh automatically makes one a terrorist sympathizer or terrorist then would not Bush count as a terrorist sympathizer? (see picture in link):
http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2008/01...
And by the way Rachel Ray has her hair exposed and is wearing make up in the ad which actually does not fly with hardliner Islamic extremists so it makes no sense to say she is "sympathizing with terrorists."
And who exactly is a terrorist? I never knew terrorism was culturally specific.

People are so ridiculous and need to get a life. How nice with the way things are in the world that people here in America still have time to focus about a stupid scars. Give me a break. Get real people. There are more important things to concern ourselves about like gas prices, the troops in Iraq and children dying, animal abuse etc.... But a scarf. Fox news is such a kiss A-s. They'll do anything to get more viewers but I doubt that will help. As for Dunkin Donuts yanking the ad. How stupid. Glad to see most of the people voted like me in the polls online about this non-story non-issue. Wish they would when the real elections come around. The scarf people though I hope won't be anywhere near the polls. Who needs their input when they worry about a scarf. My God. God help us.
