The original link worked for me. I saw this (was it you who posted it?) on another thread yesterday. It does an excellent job debunking the rumors about Obama.
And you just can't beat that Ray Charles version of "America the Beautiful."

I decided to take not2needies advice and submit it as a story.
I love it when lies and innuendo can be slam dunked so graphically and simply that even us Christian Conservatives 'get it'.

Don't worry, Goppy. Navigating the Internets is a snap once you master The Google. The question is is our children learning faster than we did growing up? I hope they is. Btw, I believe the proper spelling for the word you used is take-NAH'-low-GEE. ;-p

Thanks for submitting this, it is amazing how many people think he is a "secret Muslim" because they heard that somewhere. And there is a faction who actively is doing nothing but sending out ridiculous emails misquoting his books and fabricating all sorts of nonsense. Always do a fact check on any claim about anyone. Always. You may recall the heat I took for posting a list of arrested republican child molesters, which was horrid but true and referenced. The same clan that smears Obama with nothing but innuendo with no supportable facts whatsoever were the loudest protesters.

Of course as the campaign heats up, we'll hear all kinds of "swiftboating" from the right. Never mind that it won't be true. It'll be put forth by all of all of the usual suspects: O'Reilly, Limbaugh, Coulter, and probably quite a few that we haven't even met yet. Since Bush's approval ratings have precipitously plummeted, can we assume that more conservatives are tuning out the idiots who promulgate all of the destructive and deceitful falsehoods? Probably not. Unfortunately there is a multitude of dumbasses who only too eagerly ingest all of the horsesh1t. We all know a slew of them here at Propeller. Friggin' lemmings.

Be prepared for the most foul, incredible barrage of lies, filth, rumors, innuendo and other slop from neocons and the religious right that has EVER been unleashed. These people have already demonstrated by their conduct over the past 7 years that there is no limit to what they will do to maintain their wealth and power.

Amen. However, if McCain wins based on the same sleaze that got Bush nominated and elected in 2000, and he starts screwing up and playing dictator, I never again want to hear from Dem leaders that impeachment or other options are"off the table." I'm absolutely sick to death of hearing we can't use this approach or that approach because it would be "divisive." As we all know from Bush's embarrassing (and yet still embarrassingly high) approval rating, some Americans are just plain hard-headed and will do anything to avoid any behavior which might suggest that they are waving a white flag. They continue to back Bush who, in turn continues to back a colossal failure of a war in Iraq. These are not people who have their country's best interest at heart. They have the interest of their *egos* at heart and ultimately, a virtual smackdown may be the only language they understand. Power achieved through corruption will no longer stand.
