Great find, blue. I hope more people learn about this--the propagandists can't even come up with original smears!

FTA:
"Not a single shred of evidence has surfaced to support this claim. Nobody has actually said they've personally seen it. It hasn't been posted to YouTube as you'd expect on something this juicy. Even Republican operatives we've spoken to say they don't believe it exists."

You dont seem to be understandin how we Christian Conservatives work it.
We imagine dirty little to say bout somebody, then we get some twit on Popieller to throw it up as a story.
Then, we get ALL our Right Wing Fiends to comment on the story as if the story is the real thing.
See?
Just publishin the story is all we Christian Conservatives need to do. We put a Pink Elephant into the room, then, even after its been verified that there is OBVIOUSLY no Pink Elephant in the room ... we move on.
But, heh heh heh ... even as we move on ... poeple still think bout that PINK ELEPHANT!
Yes, we are devious ... but what can honest Americans do bout it?

Propeller provides a great rumor mill. But two can play the same game. If they keep it up, I suggest turnabout is fair play.

I can symphasize with those of you on the radical left. Every year I bet $50 on the Kansas City Royals to win the AL East because their my team. This year I bet 50 to win 2000, thats 50 more down the drain.
So you finally got the candidate you wanted. Last time you all wanted Dean, before that you nominated whirlwinds like Dukakis & Mondale. In Connecticut for senate you all fell goo-goo for Ned Lamont until Lieberman ran as independent & ruined it for you. Now your radical left winger seems to have a chance so enjoy it now but brace yourselves for November another heartbraking loss and another cry of wait till next time!

Running skert says you there Scot?
Skert of what? Oh let's see, no party has eva won more than 2 consecutive presidencies since there has been a two term limit for any one person being president? Yeah we be skert that historically we may not win. We are realists when it comes to that.
If you want to talk about being Skert, Just a short time ago the Birkenstock party was afearing that Hillary was going to ruin a sure thang for the shiny new kid on da block. Though she has stepped back she's still not gone is she.
Ah the once great party that used be held in such high esteem by me and others; they gloat about merely repeating history in the political process of the last 60 years.

I don't see any need to seek a source in the past, or in a work of fiction.
The spin-meistering of the vicious right sees no distinction between fact and fiction anyway.
Motherf****** of Invention!
Ah good! The early morning bleariness seems to be diminishing.

I swear you people on the left has some gall. "The spin-meistering of the vicious right sees no distinction between fact and fiction anyway." WTF??? Every single day we see some vicious, slandering, no proof story or stories being posted here on Nutscape about President Bush and the right, and you people have the nerve, the NERVE, to whine about a story about your side. How about showing some freaking PROOF about all the lies and BS you all accuse Bush and the right of EVERY FREAKING DAY!!!!!! Just because you believe it and that its your opinion does not make it true... Makes me want to puke, reading this horsesh!t everyday.... You all should look in a mirror before spewing your crap!

Once again ... we have someone from the Christian Right that gives VIVID example why we are so despised by honest Americans.
But I tell ya what ... as a Christian Conservative, it shore is gettin discouragin to be losin so many elections lately.
America gave us a chance with Gw ... and we simply proved that we hate this democracy thing. What we REALLY want is a kinda Religious Sharia Law thing with us Christian Conservatives dictatin what nation we are gointa send our kids to die in next.

There was an article I came across in a conservative magazine while I was at the dentist's office regarding Obama being like a cult leader possessing hypnotic powers and his followers were like sheep similar to the Moonies. The "Cult of Obama" I believe he called it. This was the writers explaination on why Obama draws such large crowds like the roughly 70,000 supporters who attended his rally in Oregon.
Then Rush Limbaugh comes up with his "magic negro" slur to describe Obama and his campaign. Scott 4261 pointed out (above) that the GOP was runnin' scared. Boy Howdy, they're actually turning to the "supernatural" to try and smear Obama since they've got nothing substantial on this astro-plane of reality/existence. Obama is evil and in league with the Devil, must be "Black" magic. Har, Har, Har.

Dim wits all. No point in even attempting to communicate with them, more likely to engage a slug than anyone who buys their Kool aid.
The smears won't work anymore, better find some other way to avoid issues and truth. No one with a brain stem believes their garbage anymore.

n2n....if u give up...the neo cons that want to destroy our country win
i know its hard to take sometimes...just remember they r not actual peops, they r traitors to the constitution and everything good
most of the neo cons on here r rnc workers anyways, dont let em get to ya
this maybe the last chance we get as a nation to get it right...we either work and speak out for our dem candidates to win or we get more of this(i stole this list from ydog because i thought it covered the neo cons agenda very well)
What's ironic is that although Republicans are perceived as good for business, the economy actually performs worse when Republicans are in power. For example, today
1) the purchasing power of the American dollar is at record lows, inflation is a real threat
2) the banks are being crushed by the sub-prime crisis
3) energy and food prices are skyrocketing

I know what you're saying QE, and you're right. I just need a break from it all. The horrors of these last few days and the lengths that some of these people will go to is draining.
I know they would love to see me leave and shut my big mouth, but the only reason they want that is because they HATE THE TRUTH.
How did the GOP get to this point? It wasn't always like this, and why do they call themselves Christians and do all their dirty work in the name of God? I am a Christian, and i guess that's why their hypocracy and dirt is so hard to take continually.
I have tried to be nice to many of these hateful, condescending cons. I have added and removed them from my friends list a dozen times in an effort to get along.. it's just too draining.
Just like ranchhands smart alec comment about my husband wanting me to clean my house! He doesn't have a clue. My husband wishes i would quit cleaning and let him tear it up. Just more of the hateful same, constantly.

I hear you. Sometimes I need a break for a couple of day. As you can see from AG's followers, there are a LOT of paid cons and cons that are in a sheer panic. They're here to make noise. That's pretty much it. So, I step away for a few days to remind myself that there's a lot of really desperate upper income people who are terrified because they know their ill gotten war time tax cuts are gonna evaporate in November. And that's really *all* that they care about, when you think about it. That's every other sentence out of a cons mouth "socialist" this or "waaaaahhh...I voted for Bush, and my tax cuts got snatched back by his Big Oil buddies! Geez, what a total freaking moron I am. Oh well...Maybe McCain will be different." It's a terribly sad story, really. ;-(

N2N, don't go, just send them away! Block them! When they get to the point that I can't read what they say without wanting to regurgitate, that's what I do. Aniokly is already blocked and Nixie, AG, Automan909, and Lum-Chate are on my "short list."
Whenever I feel like entertaining what someone I blocked has to say (which is usually a waste of time), I can always show their post and comment if I want to anyway, so it works fine for me.

what i find interesting about this rumor is that if it did materialize it would surprise no-one and wouldnt change anyones view--the osamabama faithful would defend and explain every word of it--the dinosaur media would drag out the "we need to understand how they feel" propaganda--sharpton would say whatever it is that he says--and it certainly wouldnt shock me to hear this sort of rhetoric from this shrew..it might offend some people in the middle of nebraska but i doubt it would cost barry O many votes ..probably gain some in the "keeping the black man down" white guilt sympathy column

You might have a point there, ningy.
Liek GW.
He was a bona fide draft dodger ... but Mainstream Media dint do much with that - and it dint matter to us Christian Conservatives ... cause GW said he was 'Born Again'.
And even though GW's character could be measured by his penchant for mediocrity, for alcoholism, for his extensive use of cocaine, his drunk drivin incident, and his aggressive use of eminent domain to steal land from Middle Class citizens of Arlington ... none of it really mattered a lick.
Why?
Cause he SAID he was borned again. And thats all we Christian Conservatives needed to hear.
96% of us voted for him ... for that very reason and that very reason alone.

I would be very surprised, ningyo. But personally, I agree with the person who said there would be more than one video and it would have surfaced in the news if there were a shred of truth in it. The evidence against it continues to grow -- Michelle wasn't a speaker at any of the events and person who started the rumor has repeatedly contradicted himself.
The piece of fiction with a similar quote from a fictional black presidential candidate is probably coincidence. Coincidences do happen.
The original rumor just shows how desperate those on the right are. So many of you appear to believe that the end justifies the means. Trouble is the means ends up subverting the end. That's at least part of what went wrong with GWB's presidency.

I'm from northern Ohio and I admit to having several Republican friends. They are all unabashedly racist, homophobic and pro-war.
Most still believe Saddam was behind 9/11 and had WMD so it's no surprise these NeoCon minions would spread these kind of stories.
CUZ THEY WORK ON THESE PEOPLE!

Can we all grow up about this Michelle Obama hates America?
I mean who among us with half a brain hasn't hated their country, president, mother, father, brother, neighbor, dog, job etc... at one time or another?
I think this time we can't afford to be distracted.

I don't think you can be a grownup, until you have read the paper, watched the news, listened to the people in the donut shop, -
and suddenly not felt very, very TIRED of your country.
Its like anything else that asks for your dedication; babies, marriage, career, whatever; if it was always lovable it wouldn't NEED dedication.

Me, take the Rush Limbaugh/Magic Negro story out of context, NEVER. It was just re-spun from the Karl Rove Cookbook: "How To Win An Election With Just Smoke and Mirrors, Lies and Bullsh*t," Vol.2., Slanted Press International, 1999.

I was wondering what other novels could be used to slander Obama:
He has a ring that turns him invisible; it is slowly corrupting him into becoming a socialist elitist Wraith.
Obama has a secret tattoo on his wrist, of a skull with a snake coming from the mouth; it appears only when the Democratic forum is called to meet.
Obama loved another woman before he became the Great Obama; now he throws huge parties of champaign-fountains and dancing by the pool, but turns lonely eyes to this mysterious, languid Daisy.
Left out of his autobiography were the childhood years where he learned to be a pickpocket in London; the ringleader that taught him theft and politics was named Fagen Rezco.
Can I get paid to do this now?

Based on past experience, the Democratic candidates and their spouses can be expected to be unmasked by the Republican Guardian Angels, AKA The Freeboat Flotilla, as "Frauds", "Perverts", "Pedofiles", "Child- and Wife-beaters", "Drunks", "Dop-addicts", "Closet-Q***s", "Islamists", and worst of all, as "LIBBURALS"...
Strange enough, but understandably, never a mention of any supra-umbilical vices!
