Propeller Week In Review: June 13, 2008 »
Posted By JamesMarcus 1 year, 5 months ago in NewsDennis Kucinich's failed attempt to impeach George W. Bush ignited this week's lengthiest conversation at Propeller. But the community also sounded off on oil prices, Michelle Obama, and the dark side of working at Hooters (the job seems to be a total bust).

One story is remarkable for its absence.
No one seems to have noticed that Ron Paul ended his pursuit of the Republican nomination for president--not even those who seemed to regard his candidacy as a sort of Second Coming. The news was posted by at least four people, but didn't get enough action to qualify for the "Overlooked" column. Do you have a category called "Actively Ignored?"

No, that category is called "Brutally Shunned." But there's another reason for Ron Paul's absence--that story was posted on Friday afternoon, and I get the WIR data late on Thursday afternoon. So even if it had accumulated lots of votes and comments (which it has not), it would have turned up in next week's WIR, not this time around.

I posted a story this week from a blogger called the last of the Iraqis. I'm not trying to toot my own horn, (although I have done so in the past) but a few people discredited this blogger and brang in to question his validity.
I am proud to announce that this blogger joined Propeller today. He has commented to his detractors, and the story can be found here.

Please welcome him to our community and feel free to ask him questions about life in Baghdad. His handle is last.of.iraqis

Makes interesting reading jovial.
I of course missed it all, as I so often do.
It's also an interesting thread since it contains more despicable ranting from the poster known as libsRFunny. It's a mystery to me how this abusive and semi-hysterical individual is allowed to continue posting his/her baleful nonsense on here.
