That is one interesting video. My question would be why would they supply all the energy that we need at a cheaper price when they can hold it back and keep the price high? As Lindsey Williams said, those were the most evil men that he had ever been in a room with.

    Thanks for sharing the video.

Cuz now they have to compete with ethanol.

This seems to be the highest they supposed charge in order to stop investment channeled to alternative energy at the moment. If producing alternative energy gets cheaper they will have to reduce price. Now they are just trying to stop alt-energy to emerge and develop to a affordable energy source.

In fact people who will invest and support alt-energy will harvest.

As much as I would like to see it happen, ethanol is not the solution to the oil company's price gouging. It may help a little but not enough to put a dent in their sales. The oil companies have the power and the money to buy any competition that may threaten their business and if ethanol becomes too big of a threat, they'll just buy out all competitors. The only way to stop them is to break them up like the government did to AT&T a few years back but that won't happen as long as the politicians have their hands in the oil company's pockets.

Make them sell all their company owned service stations that they used to drive independents out of business before they raise the price. In other words, don't allow the oil suppliers to own service stations. But that won't happen. Anyone old enough to remember the old fashion gas wars between service stations?? When they use to clear your windshield?

But the pictures arriving from Iowa and other midwestern states don't bode well for the corn crop at the moment. So "alt-energy" will have to mean something beyond the current solutions to the same problems. Probably will involve things like a competitive market, rather than conglomerates that know the answers.
