    If solar energy is found to be environmentally unsound we are in big trouble.

    I am beginning to think my conspiracy minded brethren are right and the enviro's want us to go back to stone age living.

    I agree the government gives out billions of dollars in grants every year and what do we get from them? Politicians and their friends and relatives become fat cats but there seems to be no positive results. I applaud McCain's idea of putting up large cash prizes for certain results. Far more efficient that doling out grants every year and getting nothing back.

      I agree completely. I like solar power and will be glad when it becomes more useful. Same with wind etc.

      It just burns me when windmill farms are shut down because birds fly into them and now solar plants are not going to be built or tested because of bureaucracy.
