Comments for Obama Hints At Changing His Iraq Withdrawal Timeline »

Posted By capj71 1 year, 5 months ago in News

While speaking to reporters in Fargo, ND today, Barack Obama suggested that he might not hold firm to his plan of getting all U.S. troops out of Iraq in 16 months. He said that troop safety is still an important consideration, but he also added the stability of Iraq to his considerations, thus leaving the door open for troops to stay in Iraq.

Don't we need at least enough troops to protect the oil fields assigned to US operators?

Not at all. It is Bush's oil. Since the beginning of the Century. SEE PRESCOTT BUSH and his good friends, the Bin Ladens. Also, have you noticed Condoleeza Rice's mahor sharehold in a major gas company? Come on. This is NOT about the American people

No it isn't. I am amazed at how easily everyone falls for the nonsense they hear on TV.

Wow, another anti capitalist. No one is supposed to make money on anything without someone thinking they are criminals. Just because you hold stock, does not mean your whole life centers around that stock. Why not be a shareholder in major gas companies. Gas is going up now. Especially since we can't drill in our own areas.

Of course they will do that once they are strong enough. I think this is what a lot of people don't understand. If we pull the troops out too soon, the insurgents will swarm in like flies and kill anyone who supported the US and allies and then take over the oil fields them selves.

Then guess what, they will use the funds they get to attack the US and others who appose them.

Then by your reasoning, perhaps the politicians here supporting the Iraqi's need their own Iraqi troops to protect them from disgruntled U.S. citizens....

Let the Iraqi's protect their own 'Disneyland' - and we can get the hell out of the middle of whatever clusterphuc they inflict on themselves. That's what 'Civil Wars' are all about.

cival wars? That might work if it was only the fighting amongst themselves; but they are getting interference from countries in the vicinity.

Obama has already told the Iraqi government that he does not intend to pull out without the consent of the Generals on the ground and the Iraqi government.

So much for the lefts savior doing what they said he was going to do, oh wait all the dems say they want to pull the troops out. but all have changed their minds when it comes time to vote on the deal of sending more troops or spending money on the troops while they are over there, so they only want them out when it works politically for them but support them to save face. obama will not pull the troops out he is just blowing smoke up his followers butts, and you all will take in the smoke and say thank you sir because you people are so afraid of Bush that you will say and do and follow anyone that opposes him weather or not the have the experience or knowledge of what to do. BHO is a threat to this country but all of you who follow his every word are as much of a threat, because if he told you that the only way to get out of iraq was to nuke the place and then any survivors can leave ,you would all clap your hands. so to allof you i say LMGDFAO you guys are pathetic

We're not "Afraid of Bush". We're afraid of his bumbling incompetence!

Let me ask you Mr. Patriot Sir...Are you better off now than you were eight years ago?

                That's What I Thought!
