A new study says that orangutans are on the road to being the first of the Great Apes to face extinction, as their populations continue to slowly decline despite conservation efforts.

    Un-Intended consequences. Does the left not understand that when you make knee-jerk decisions about energy, social policy, etc., opportunity cost will provide a negative from an otherwise perceived positive. As of this moment, oil remains the most cost effective fuel we have. Exploit it until a viable, cheaper form is developed, not before.
