Cooler weather helping firefighters contain Butte County fires »
Posted By Wil 1 year, 3 months ago in NewsFirefighting crews say cooler weather has allowed them to gain the upper hand on the Butte County wildfires, although they're not yet ready to declare the fight won. Large areas of the burned region remain evacuated as a precaution, but the fire is now 65 percent contained and no additional homes have burned.
