Congress got a bad rap due to die hard Republicans who did not want to give up Bush on his arrogance and crimes.
. invading and occupying Iraq
. outing the identity of a CIA covert operative
. Holding people without charges or evidence
. kidnapping people off the streets and detaining them
. torture of detainees of Iraq prison
. torture of detainees in Gitmo
lopsided priorities:
. vetoed bill to fund health insurance of kids of poor parents.
. vetoed bill that would keep reasonable reimbursement of charges incurred by physicians treating Medicare patients.
. vetoed bill that required accountability for his Iraq adventure.
What a scum bag and what a bunch of crooks that make up the Republicans in Congress.

Quote:
"Dem-led Congress.".
For dumb Republican neo con crooks here is a refresher:
. Republican crooks controlled Congress from 1994 - 2007.
. Democrats have no majority in Senate.
The lies of the WH & his crooks has killed over 4000 soldiers and counting.
Hey libsRfunny, celebrate the coffins coming home with US flags made in China and a war financed by loan from China. Do you have a date to end this that is costing us $15B each month that you borrow from China?

And this morning I heard Congressman Kirk on the radio stating in no uncertain terms that it is (drum roll please) NANCY PELOSI who is keeping significant energy policy bills from a vote. Presumably because she doesn't want to see any oil rigs offshore from any windows in California. Actually, if they are 50 or 60 miles out to sea, they'll be below the horizon, Nancy - so you can let go of that. YESSIR - those Democrats are doing a FINE job in Congress all right. Aren't you glad now that you voted them all in?
