This is one of the things the Una-Bomber was freaking out about in his manifesto. It would really suck to see him on TMZ dot com saying "I told you so!" while seeing Justin Timberlake being sucked into a black hole. Actually, on second thought, that would be awesomeness on a scale too large to comprehend!

If they DO discover the "God particle" in it, I doubt many people will worship it. Oh, by the way, I've heard that this thing could produce a small particle that would be so small that you wouldn't be able to see it. Yet, it would be very heavy, sink through the earth, orbitting in and out of the earth, possibly passing through you without you knowing it. However, in all the matter it would fly through as it traveled in and out of the earth in its orbit, it would be hitting the centers of atoms at times, gaining mass and density to the point where it created it's own gravity. If it takes on it's own gravity, it then starts up a chain reaction where it then not only hits more atoms (as it increases in size), but, brings things to it. We still wouldn't know what was unleashed, and, even if we did, it would still be too small to find. By the time we could see it, we'd only have minutes of life left until the earth and all colapsed in on itself, crushed out of existence.

Personally, I'm not going to worry about it. Because, IF such a thing WERE actually to happen, that would seem to disprove most religions on the planet, including my own beliefs, pretty much nailing it that there is no God...well, no PERSONAL God, anyway. And, to me, if there is no personal God, then there is no Heavenly after-life. No Heavenly after-life, then there are a LOT of poor people suffering on this planet for nothing, making such an event almost a god-less blessing...for THEM, of course. IF that thing is unleashed, and, five years down the line (like some speculate), I, and everyone here are feeling a great gravitational "pull down", crushing us to pin point extinction, I'm going to die laughing.
