Comments for Russia's energy drive leaves US reeling »

Posted By jovial 1 year, 5 months ago in News

Last week, the gloves finally came off the Dmitry Medvedev presidency in Russia. It had to happen sooner or later, but few would have expected this soon. It was crystal clear US President George W Bush administered a diplomatic snub to Medvedev on the sidelines of the Group of Eight (G-8) summit meeting at Hokkaido, Japan.

The world war for energy has started and it looks like it's going to be a long one.

The "war for energy" started about a century ago, e.g. when the Brits split Kuwait off from Iraq (to guarantee their access to the oil fields that were then easily accessible) and occupied Iraq. At the same time, places like Venezuela were already oil-colonial projects of the US. These types of projects go on continuously. For example, much of the fuss about Darfur is motivated by access to oil (currently under Chinese control), whereas nothing is said in the West abut the vicious dictatorship in Equatorial Guinea (where western oil companies operate).

That Russia (and China) can compete for "control" is a product of smaller nations wanting to preserve as much of their independence as possible.

That this is characterized as a "war" is very convenient for keeping docile populations under the control of elites.

Whats amazing is that Bush is too stipid to realize the consequences of his actions.

          Typical Dumbya Bush.

He takes a steaming dump at the G8, Condi steps in it and spreads it everywhere she goes.

One more time, the leaders of the world look at this little idiot and wonder......

SH IT, this makes Hitler a military genius, and to think many still think this idiot (shrub) is some sort of icon.

So it's clearly evident now isn't it. The reason diplomatic channels magicly opened with Iran is because of the deal that was made with Russia over energy. Now le's see if Israel is ballsy enough to continue talking about attacking Iran now.

It is more complicated than just that. Ever since the time of Stalin's jews, the zionists have had very good connections in Russia.

Israel and Russia close to deal on Mediterranean pipeline

Jerusalem is close to an agreement with Moscow that would secure natural gas for a planned pipeline project between Turkey and Israel, Infrastructure Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer said on Thursday.

The project consists of five pipelines that would carry water, natural gas, oil, electricity and fibre optics from Turkey's Mediterranean coast to Israel....

And the connections include the russian mafia.

                Russian mob's Jewish godfather

Former senior member of Berlin Jewish community arrested for allegedly heading one of Russia's largest organized crime groups

                Russian Jewish Organized Crime

... By all accounts, Israel has become a haven for the Mafiya and a base for their international operations. Mob moguls are in residence as respected businessmen. Jonathan Winer, a former State Department expert, states categorically that, "There is not a major Russian organized crime figure whom we are tracking who does not carry an Israeli passport."..

And, of course, this also extends to America.

Red Mafia: How the Russian Mob Has Invaded America

In Red Mafia, investigative reporter Robert Friedman delves into the world of Russian organized crime...

.. In truth, the FBI faces real obstacles but has also scored successes. Had it not arrested the mobsters named above, Friedman would not have had the material to write his book. Given the global scale of Russian organized crime, the FBI simply cannot combat it effectively without international cooperation. Nearly all Russian mafia bosses hold Israeli citizenship. Since Israel will not extradite citizens, American law enforcement authorities cannot prosecute them, thereby weakening their ability to deter mafia members from committing future crimes.

The influence of the American Jewish community and fear of perceived anti-Semitism also hamper efforts to clamp down on the Russian Jewish mobsters. The special American relationship with Israel also reinforces the mafia's power, given its entrenchment in that country. Israeli government leaders (including "Bibi" Netanyahu) have been known to accept huge sums of campaign money from the Russian mafia, even after having been warned by the FBI and others. To his credit, Friedman informs the reader of these difficulties....

In fact, the influence of jewish mobsters even extends to John McCain.

Politics â;; McCain's Career has mostly been financed by jewish mobster money. He is married to the daughter of a member of the jewish mafia. His family has a long tradition of doing Israel's bidding, even to the point of covering up Israeli attacks on America.

By the way engineer (since you negged this), I assume that since you are negging jewish authors, your objection is not based on your chant of "anti-semitism", but perhaps more on the assumption that organized crime, ethnic cleansing, etc. by pseudo-jewish zionists cannot be a crime by definition. Seems a strange attitude for someone to be screaming anti-semite everytime zionist crimes or mafias are exposed by jews.

When you look like an oil grabbing tyrant, it would make sense for other nations to band together to secure their needs but in the end it's about which oil company will rule the world.

I think Obama will be inheriting a disaster- a scorched earth left behind by an incompetent buffoon.

The only way he can rebuild is by signing an executive order suspending ALL executive orders and findings signed by Dumbya. Then looking at each one as the need arises will give him a clean start and a much better chance to bring this country back to life again.

The damage is TOTAL and devastating!
