If the most important issue in the news is an issue of The New Yorker, does that mean banks are OK? That the war is over and we can afford to drive to the grocery store, and afford the groceries? Uncle Jay explains!

So Bush didn't plumb it right so now things are plummeting.

Well I never thought he was a good plumber.

The next thing you know they will let McCain try.

Hell I'll bet he doesn't even know what a plumb line is.

We really should get Bush out of office before nothing is plumbed right.

    Good one ind06

I'm not so sure that children and farm animals might not have kept us on a better path. But we've got what we've got, no matter what's plummeting. Trust them!

      Thanks Uncle Jay.

Are you kidding? This country is effective run by children (masquerading as old fogies) and farm animals (pigs, cows, rats etc).

If Uncle Jay is right, and he usually is, and the price of gas guzzlers plummets, my timely investments in Stretch Mini Coopers just might pay off!

It is now possible to get a fully customized Mini, complete with a gold plated shoe horn to help with entering and exiting! These Mini's are stretched from 12 feet to a full 19 feet!

        That's a full 3 inches longer than a 1959 Cadillac Eldorado!

I'm gonna be RICH!! Woo Hoo!!

You'll be even richer if you can add an iPhone to your stretch Mini Cooper!

I gotta tell ya, I prefer the micro-minis. Especially when I'm outside on Michigan Avenue on my way to and from lunch. On a windy day.

Oh wait...we were talking about cars, weren't we?

Do you park your Maxi-Mini on a Maxi pad?

I and a friend once took his MiniCooper to a junkyard to find a refrigerator for him--he wanted the liner as a fish tank. We found the refrig; but the only way to get it back to his apartment was to lash the thing on top of the car. An interesting sight going through city streets.

So your friend took his Mini to get a refrigerator liner for his Minnies. Is that right? ;-)
