    It was intentional to reject the reply. It pointed out where Obama has made mistakes in the past and gave McCain's view of how the war should proceed. There was no time line for withdrawal so that is probably why they say there was no plan.

      It was rejected because if you don't define "victory" - and no it doesn't have to include a "timeline" - and your op-ed is about "victory" then what the hell is your point? As a one time journalism student, I know that is not uncommon for editorials to be rejected for these reasons. If you read Obama's op-ed at least he lays out plans rather than making vague undefined statements.

      I would like to see what McCain's definition of victory would be, in fact, I really want to know as it would help me put into perspective what McCain's vision is for the region so I can be a better informed voter. Unfortunately, I have yet to see what his plans are for Iraq.
