Ummm ..did they finally perfect the time machine and integrate propeller with the Winky Dink Magic TV screen ? I keep trying to peel off the mylar plastic that is really hiding the old propeller forum from my monitor but somehow cannot find the edge.....

As a one time graphic designer I'm not too fond of the new layout, either. Also, the new logo has a 1950's look to it that doesn't appeal to me. I thought the old one was well executed and appropriate to the word, "Propeller". This one looks like a graphic for a freshman biology class. having said all this, I'm willing to give it a shot and hope that it will become a little more user friendly with some tweaking and refinement. Right now it looks like it's just change for change sake.

Now how am I going to figure out who to slap, or more importantly, how will I know who it was that slunk in like a cowardly dog, pinched a stinker and then split, undercover of second rate programming?

I feel like a tropical fish that woke up and found himself transported from one aquarium to another. The other aquarium was fun. I feel muzzled in this one. Like there is a barrier between me and others. Kind of reminds me of that Star Trek episode where the Klingons and the Federation couldn't fight each other due to all their weapons made to hot to touch by these superior evolved beings of "pure energy" on a planet who detested violence. I mean, it's now darn hard to respond to someone who attacks your politcal and religious views, and, I'm sure it's also vice versa. You can post something someone doesn't like, and, he has to grin and bare it. Of course, he can post something you don't like and, you'll have to do the same. Believe it or not, but, today, I discovered that you can now down-load videos from Muhammadtube and people on Propeller can actually PLAY them to finally see where I was coming from when I sound like a broken record with "al-taqqiya". That may not happen now. Well, some fish don't handle the change of transport from one tank to another. I wonder how many of us "fish" will develope dropsy and now drop out?

As I've said elsewhere, it looks like they gave the tech guys the go-ahead to add bells and whistles, forgetting that there is such a thing as a customer/user.
There is too much spacing between the comments, it takes a click to see the replies, some of the replies open another page and go off into cyberspace.
This is an embarrassment to the web design world. It comes across as a beta of a beta of a beta with very sloppy workman/woman ship.
It takes a new sign-in for every story, and there is an overall lack of cohesiveness.Evidently one person or group was given a module to produce, but they forgot to make a whole out of the parts.

I think a two-year-old could come up with better layout, navigation, and content placement than this! Ghastly!! and Ghostly!!
Half of the links do not even work.
And the little "propeller guys" graphic - I've seen stick men that looked better!
As it has been already said, and I TOTALLY agree - this SUCKS!!!!!
I am OUTTA here. I may check back occasionally to see if anyone at Propeller has regained their sanity and restored the previous format.

Ouch, I ended up getting repeated twice. And, I can't delete one of them to keep others from getting pis-sed. Well, you can debate on YouTube. Just make sure you cut and paste to save what you wrote TOO your computer. I've discovered that those who don't like what you say in your debates on YouTube, can delete your comments. Notorious for deleting comments are the "religion of peacers". The one who didn't delete my comments, made it to the point where it looks like you are possibly going to be checking out kiddie porn. It says, in red, "dangerous down-load" so, you don't go there, unless you like the FBI looking down your neck. All it is is me asking the Muslim responsible for the video, about stars in the atmosphere that will burn you with fire if you try to escape the bounds of the earth without Allah's authority as the Quran SAYS will happen. I responded further with, "Allah must be most merciful indeed to not attack the atheistic cosmonauts and non-Muslim Americas when they went out into orbit."

I can't see MY comment, because when I am on the story page with the first 25 comments and I select the button that says "Next 25 Comments", I STILL see only the first 25 comments!

This is completely pathetic.
Whoever makes the decisions about this sort of thing needs to look into the Sony "Star Wars Galaxies" fiasco with the NGE.
I think SOE lost a couple of hundred thousand subs over that crock. Without question the Biggest trainwreck in gaming history.
This sucks...If we are stuck with it I plan to delete propeller from my browser.

This is a terrible change.
The people who make the decisions about things like this need to check out the history of Sony Online Entertainments "Star Wars Galaxies" NGE fiasco.
The programmers knew what was "best" for the subscriber base there as well.
They lost over 200000 subs in a single day.
The biggest trainwreck in gaming history.
This sucks...Roll it back!

Time will not fix this mess. The site is less functional, more difficult to read, members are more isolated, cheap looking and probably at "best" cost effective. I am done with Propeller and all their phony promises. Good luck.
If anyone else wants my email address, try sending me a message. I might even get it and be able to read it, though it is doubtful. I will try to send out my email address to let people know how to contact me in the future for those who would like to keep in touch. Chow!

While I am not adverse to change, there are just so many basic things I dislike about the new format that I don't see myself having a change of mind, at least on the items that I find the most irksome; no running threads, double columns prevent quick scanning of stories, messages on a separate page from your profile is annoying, a "theme" that is almost insulting ( I feel like I need to raise my hand/ primary school anyone), and most importantly a format that discourages in-depth discussion. The primary reason for visiting this site, and something that distinguished it from many of it's rivals.
Advertising space is all well and good, but only if you have members to view them. -

Not very innovative at all, how disappointing.
One could've only hoped for a more intelligent design than this bland, glaring and more featureless "prop" than before.
Maybe a customizable outlay for all member incentives is beyond these news blogs, in the far future perhaps.

An RSS news feed Icon, to me, seems inappropriate when situated next to a title "Join The Discussion" when it really implies "view the comment feed".
Because people like me dislike subscribing to RSS feeds for the news yet alone just to view comments, and so it was overlooked.After posting a comment you then view or subscribe to the comments feed, or vice versa. Not even a confirmation link after posting LMAO! Talk about low budget runaround.
Anyway, why such the fuss on comments?
... and no it didn't take me, since my first post, that long to figure all this out :)

This is what happens when you hand a software person a spec and never let them see what they are replacing. Usability goes down drastically and things are horrible. To find a story you were on before is almost impossibly unless you are willing to wait forever and go through a long list.
