Well now they've got you buried on page 32.
I actually reached it by going through all the pages..
Are these guys NUTS or what???
In my 13 years on the Internet I have almost never seen such a dog's bollocks of a mess.
They had something absolutely brilliant going - not flawless but some OUTSTANDING contributors, with some murky ones thrown in for good measure but THIS is SH**

keep working, when you try to fix something that's not broken, it takes even more work to get it right again.

I am reminded by George Harrison's song, "All Things Must Pass" and I can't help but feel the loyal users of the former Propeller are being treated much like poor George was. In other words, pushed to the side with our input ignored.

While there are plenty of bad things to say about the redesign (and they are all getting said), I did want to make two points. First, we are definitely listening to every scrap of member feedback--in the threads, feedback inbox, site mail, and email. Our dev team is already revisiting certain features and we will be restoring some of the deleted ones very soon. We understand your frustration, and hope you will stick around long enough to give Prop 2.0 a fair shake after its bumpy debut. There are some gains here (Propeller Search, Groups, and what is projected to be a major performance upgrade, once the dust settles) and we are determined to fix bugs at record. Oh, and just for the record, nobody deliberately removed any of the earlier anti-Propeller stories. It has never been our policy to quash criticism. It looks like a spam-suppression feature may have glommed onto certain comments and stories by accident. We are fixing that right now, and it will not happen again.

A moral lesson the folks who run Propeller could have used before launching this mess.
Here's a few of those lessons that were obviously 'overlooked'.
          • It's the community, stupid.
          • Many players don't experience a persistent online world as "a game." They experience it as "my life." An online world's hardcore players view themselves as citizens. Some want to be good citizens, some bad, but the entire core wants to believe they belong to something permanent.
          • Big changes after launch drive away existing players and make newcomers mistrust you.

I wanna share a link to a story about what happens when you make subscribers unhappy and then ignore and attempt to silence them.

A moral lesson, if you will.

What can I say? This sucks. Over the last couple years I have grown to love propeller as well as it's members. Even the rabid libs that I would fight with to what seemed like no end. You will all be missed. I really hate that it has come to this but I have no interest in attempting to navigate this abortion of a news site. Anyone wishing to contact me knows what site I will now be on. So unless I find out that things here are once again back to normal, this will be my last post. And I will leave you with this.

Will this take? Testing, testing? So far, NONE of my comments have stayed in the new Propeller.

Or as usual - could blame the "fundies".
There really should have been some instructions as to purpose of design. It really seems a bit of a mess....BUT.......don't totally give up. I only had to take off half a day to figure the entry into this schumozel. I actually see some merits to the design and as with all new changes...WE HATE EM'.......but eventually get used to the different approach and deal with it.

I have never been a quitter and have grown to enjoy the comments and personalities of the propeller members , so to make it short and sweet I will not jump ship just yet and I hope that those who I have come to enjoy will make the effort as well. I thought that the site really sucked this morning but am trying to get familiar with the new format.
Those who I have come to admire on here may not share beliefs on alot of topics but I feel most are strong enough to give this a try. For those of you who decide that this is not your thing I would like to thank you for your comments and ideas in the past and it has been indeed a pleasure to know you even if we have never met . I wish all of you the best in your lives and wish now that I had made an effort to get to know some of you better . Once Again to those who are leaving Thanks for the moment.

I don't understand why they implemented this lame new design without asking the users! The administrators probably think that most Propeller users are aged 6-12. Otherwise I can't explain why they put that Cartoon-styled dork as a maskot of the website. Propeller users are serious people who don't need a cartoon design.

I believe that now most people will leave for other social websites that don't treat their visitors like children.
