The committee hosting the Democratic National Convention has used the city's gas pumps to fill up and apparently avoided paying state and federal fuel taxes.

    Sounds fair to me. Looks like all politicians are happy to raise taxes because it doesn't matter to them. No gas tax, sweet heart home loans while we pay higher and higher taxes.

      I agree with RedRiverJ. Democratwssay they want to raise taxes on everybody especially by taxing the oil companies. Then they do this. Disgusting. They just want to tax everybody else.

        I surprised their "director of greening" allows them to use gas at all.

        So the liberal democrat scumbags don't have to pay taxes on gas in Colorado. I wonder how the citizens of Denver feel about helping to pay for the democrat convention as well as waiving the gas taxes they have to pay.
