FTA-Edwin Ramos, now 21, is being held on three counts of murder in the June 22 deaths of Tony Bologna, 48, and his sons Michael, 20, and Matthew, 16. They were shot near their home in the Excelsior district when Tony Bologna, driving home from a family picnic, briefly blocked the gunman's car from completing a left turn down a narrow street, police say.

They were murdered because of road rage!!!!!!! This is an outrage!!!! The citizens of SF should fire the mayor, they deserve better protection than that. -

This is as good an example of the "law of unintended consequences" as I have ever seen.
An attempt at "compassion" for illegal immigrants comes around to bite you in the ass.
Perhaps one could look at it this way: If a person is willing to break one federal law, why should he/she be inclined to obey all the others?

I take it you've never been to San Francisco. It's a great city. A few morons make stupid policies that even us "Liberals" wonder about. The illegals should be sent back. If they are criminals they need to serve their time and then get dropped out of a plane over their hometown. Parachute optional.
This website may be new but you are the same idiot as always.

Perhaps someone can tell Mrs Bologna about the unfairness of painting this with a "broad brush" at the funerals of her beloved husband and two wonderful sons. This man has a criminal past, he is here illegally and wasn't made to abide by the laws. Any criminal that is here legally or illegally that does something like this should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. The SF Mayor is not doing his job. “.. to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign or domestic…”

I agree. Any person who might at some point commit an act like this should be exterminated. I mean, could you stand in front of this lady and explain how "I thought he might do something awful, but I didn't do anything about it"? The number of "problems" a person could have had prior to committing an act like this that could be used to predict that this would happen are innumerable. Just be careful that folks don't decide to move the line you are suggesting further so that you should be removed from the pool of possible perpetrators, ie society.
Oh, and I'm not sure the mayor of SF makes that oath... Nor do I recall in the US Constitution where it says that any illegal alien shall be removed from the terriory of the United States.

Sorry #1. There is no edit function anymore that I can see, so I can't remove the double post.
Sorry #2, this refers to RedRiverJ instead of oldgringo, but Propeller didn't feel like putting it there.
This will probably end up in a random spot as well :/

He has told his law enforcement officials to follow his sanctuary city policy of hands off for illegals. He can if he want to do so have his law enforcement officials enforce the laws by having them picked up, reported to ICE and or have them picked up, put in jail for committing the crimes they commit. If Americans are picked up for crimes, illegals should be treated equally.

"If all the kids that have been helped had killed her family you'd have a point. But they didn't so you don't. Your 'argument' is nothing more than specious clap trap."
The fact that you can so easily dismiss this one persons terrible pain AND this horrible, avoidable crime, in the name of the "greater good" tells much about your character. Was her sacrifice sufficient balm for your bleeding heart? Perhaps we should rename the victims...we can call them martyrs in your benevolent quest to rehabilitate gangbangers and other illegal immigrants who commit felonies.

Unbelievable. One kid blows it, and all the help given to the many vulnerable kids is a bad idea. Those broad brushes must get awfully heavy for ya'll.
Unbelievable? Yes
One Kid? Uhm he’s 21 years old, not a kid.
blows it? Murder equals blows it? What planet do you live on?
“help given to the many vulnerable kids is a bad idea”
Lets see the help given this kid allowed him to murder 3 innocent people (3 that we know about) Okay I’ll go out on a limb here and say ya that’s a bad idea.
Could you please explain to Mrs. Bologna how helping this “kid” to murder 3 innocent members of her family? Her children? Her husband?
Please make your BEST case!

SF has an ad campaign airing on TV telling illegals they are safe in SF:
Reply
"In what may be the first such campaign of its kind, the city plans to publish multilanguage brochures and fill the airwaves with advertisements relaying assurance that SF will not report them to the federal immigration authorities.
Mayor Gavin Newsom said the campaign was simply an amplification of a longstanding position of not cooperating with immigration raids or other enforcement
Still, Newsom said, it never hurts to advertise. "It's one thing to have a policy on paper," he said. "It's another to communicate it directly to people who could be impacted."

KISA452a...I know this tragedy could have happened anywhere, but if criminal illegals KNEW they would be deported maybe they would curb their violent tendencies. This murderer is a gang banger who should have been kicked out of the country on his first violent offense, regardless of his age. Sanctuary cities should not harbor criminals.

Both Mccain and Obama are pro-amnesty. Ron Paul will bring our country back to the respect level we once cherished. We are FREE Americans...for right now. but, if you vote for McCAin or Obama, you deserve the consequences of your ignorance.

With McCain or Obama in the pres. seat will only bring about more of this violence. Both McCain and Obama are pro-amnesty. A vote for either one of them is a vote for the "illegals." (you aint seen nothing yet)
Reply
Our best defense would be to put a man of intelligence and not special interest in the position of President. That man is Ron Paul. He should replace McCain. It would cause the mindless followers of Obama to think...for once in their lives.

At least McCain said he learned his lesson after the people spoke and his amnesty bill was defeated. Now he's for closing the border first. As for the illegals already here, they should all be rounded up and deported. I'll help do that, I see lots of them every day. I won't turn in really good looking women, doctors, highly skilled technical people or my neighbor's gardener.

Oh, but they're simply downtrodden hard working honest illegal aliens, we should show compassion for, blah, blah, blah. We need to build the wall, enforce the laws on the books and remove the anchor baby clause. Better yet, the ones we capture and their drug smuggling friends, we use them to build the wall. For those who knowingly hire illegals, jail and fines. For those nations like Mexico who help their people enter illegally, we back charge them for all costs such as welfare, Medicaid, education, housing and any other bogus left liberal help we've provided. Use the foreign aid we send them and back bill them for the rest.

We need to work out a deal yesterday:
Reply
Mexico gives one barrel of oil per month per illegal we have sheltered and cared for. this would help our depleting $$$ and provide more fuel for Americans...and, close to home. lower transportation costs.

I'm sad that this happen to a family over road rage, but let leave the polotics out of it.. this is just like saying mass murder once ate at Mc Donalds. it was purely a case of Road Rage.. not conservatism or liberalism. if was the case, how would you explain a lady in southern Indiana shooting a motorcylist who stopped his bike at a light and went back to ask her to stop tailgaiting him. Not only did she shoot him but her son got out of the car and started kicking him. So should we say This woman recieved safe haven in Conservative Indiana ? I think not. Call it what it is, no more no less.
