Did anyone explain to Barack, Germans can't vote in an American election? This isn't the south side of Chicago or San Diego. Why would he go to Germany? This is a terrible campaign stunt that will back fire. He's doing the same thing Hillary did, assume he's won the election.

JFK, can't say as I would know. Before my time.
As to Reagan, in what capacity? His tear down this wall speech was made after his victory. He was very anticommunist, was that one of the speeches? Before I can comment, I would need to hear or read them.
I knew President Reagan and always liked him. Even when I disagreed with him, I always respected him.

Making speeches in Germany isn't spending time overseas. At least not in the normal sense. He has no foreign service experience and I don't see him gaining it here. As to the crowds, I heard some of the live feed. Tried logging on to the Propeller sites but they didn't work, go figure. On the BBC feed two things caught my attention. The speech was a lot of nothing, so he's paying his usual hand. But what confused me, if he was such a huge draw, why have two bands charging up and attracting people? It sure sounded like U2. Kennedy and Reagan didn't need the help, why did he?

It's almost the same stump speech he made here in Milwaukee. I'm so happy my firm has requested I take over the EU operations. I've spent almost 6 years building up a great region. With the changes in the pipeline, my Swiss owners will shut down the entire US manufacturing and simply import, using contract distribution. The only things keeping business here was the decrease in the dollar. Jack taxes without controlling spending on social issues and we're dead.

That's because in order to work for my team you have to actually attend a school and learn a skill. Engineering, tool & die, architecture. Real skills. Not protesting 101 or how you feel is more important that what you know. Seeing what you've said in the past, that would also require to you pass a urine test so I'm pretty sure you would never work for us. That plus you'd have to leave your mommy's basement without your foil hat.

I agree but I didn't see Hillary in Germany. Actually doing one of these stunts, I've never seen anyone do it before. Then again, I've never seen any of the candidates willfully alter the Presidential Seal but Barry's team did. Again, double standards. Had Reagan done that, the press would have gone nuts. Bush 41 or 43, you bet. Double standards. Then again, I've never seen three "top" anchors fly with a jr. senator whose running for president and acting like his press secretaries either. If he wins, I hope you're ready for the steep job losses and declines in all sectors.

Thought I commented before, our allies are fine, for the President or the President elect. This guy is neither at this time. He's doing a world win stunt, kind of like the old Hitler rallies called "Hitler over Germany". while I wouldn't call him Hitler, he's using that play book. Lots of fluff, hyperbole and pageantry without any substance.
He's pitched we should pull all our troops out. That would include Germany. How many of those German citizens would celebrate if they realized they'd have to pay for their own army and loose somewhere around $ 15 billion. That's taking into account the entire economic impact we have on their nation. I suspect most haven't actually read anything he's written. I understand. I can't find much on him either.

Where did you get the idea that only the 'President' can speak overseas? Barak Obama is a presidential candidate, as well as a United States Senator. As a candidate and as a Senator he has a message for the people of Europe, and he is backed by the American people who voted for him, both times. And he has shown, which so many have missed, that HE has the mandate to reach out and mend the disconnect between this country and Europe. He obviously understands that our relationships need mending, and has the intelligence to reach out and begin that process. If john mccain had the same mandate, those who are upset that Obama has taken that role would be cheering. And you know it.

Why do we give a sh-t what the Europeans think of us ? Do you give a sh-t, Jordon ? I bet you even care what the good ole UN thinks about us, too...Don't you ? You know the organization that has America at the forefront of their minds? That racist, bunch of thugs that would love nothing more to see America fall...
Oh, and speaking of Obama being such a huge UNITER of everybody, I guess you missed the article that talked about Osama's visit to Israel and the concern that most Israelites had about Osama "selling Israel off"...It's funny how those Israelites can see right through Osama's lies and conjecture, but the Germans are just brainwashed from all the liberal media over there...I could give a rats ass what they think of us...Really....
While he's dancing and parading around like the imbecile that he is, McCain is cleaning his clock on what really matters to the American people, Our energy crisis and the security of this country...

Osama's trip to Europe and to visit our military has done nothing to help him in the polls...
He will lose in November...

Why would it backfire when most of America knows how much damage Bush has done to our reputation worldwide? Maybe cons think the rest of the world thinks in the same narrow minded t way they do and live their lives to play sex police but that's nothing but warped right wing thinking. Why did you people obsess over what the rest of the world thought of us when Bill Clinton was representing our country and now suddenly when the international community gives Bush a resounding thumbs down, you think what everyone else feels about us is irrelevant? Why do you cheer Bush when he jumps in bed with Qadaffi but not when Obama tries to make amends with those we've p!ssed off? I don't get cons. ;-(

Cons knew that when they were swooning with rage over Clinton's bj. What shame and dishonor hath BC's cigar brought to the White House! Oh the horror, the horror! What will the world think of us?! Aiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig... Today they'd kill to have filthy hypocrite adulterer Newt Gingrich running instead of McCain. Wow. What a difference 8 years makes, huh? ;-(
