Former NASA astronaut and moon-walker Dr. Edgar Mitchell - a veteran of the Apollo 14 mission - has stunningly claimed aliens exist. We’ve speculated about life on other planets for a very long time, but recent evidence from the surface of Mars, I believe, changes the tone of those speculations in ways that have me laughing at Dr. Mitchell a lot less than I might have five years ago.

When I was a kid, my friends and I were camping in y back yard and something large and silent flew over the house. Everyone in the area saw it and the TV repoted it but the airforce denied anything. Not sure what I saw, but I keep thinking, if there were someone out there why would they be interested in ths little blue planet? Unless of course they have been here in the past and all religions are based on that. WHo knows for sure.

I believe in the possibility of life on other planets or in other galaxies. If God has been around forever, why would we assume that we are all he's ever worked on? Besides that, the Bible says "I have sheep in other folds"...that would seem to me like a hint that we are not the only creatures he ever created.

Aliens are probably real. Wanna know about a crazy story? The Betty and Barney Hill case. The aliens supposedly showed Betty where they came from on a "star map" as she described it and this map actually reflected reality when a new star was found about ten years after. Another crazy story was in Missouri and this one left physical evidence. A boy saw a strange light hovering over the ground about eighty feet from him and then it zoomed off. The ground underneath had a glowing ring and when his mom touched it, her arm was numb for the rest of her life. Nothing grows in this ring today and the soil around it is hydrophobic (water repellent). Unnaturally high levels of pyruvate was in the soil, I believe, or so the study done on the soil revealed. This substance is natural in soil (its part of the Krebs Cycle) but not the levels of it found. Crazy things out there and I'm pretty sure that aliens exist just due to the size of the universe... and I don't find it utterly impossible that they've developed some kind of technology that allows them to reach here.

That's the main reason scientists don't accept alien visitation and they shouldn't :D
No real hard evidence exists and the only physical evidence can be explained by other means. However, I think there is so much of the weaker type of evidence around aliens that it should be looked at closely and considered by people. Not necessarily accepted, like I have. The Betty and Barney Hill case is actually famous and the star system they eventually described was Zeta Reticuli, which is some forty light years from Earth. Of course, explanations exist for the creation of the map, but it should also be noted that the first abduction phenomenon involving "Grays" as they are called was the Betty and Barney Hill case. Pop culture is definitely not an explanation for this abduction story.

I think its quite ridiculous to believe we are the only intelligent life forms out there. Just look into space tonight and look at the stars. There IS life out there. Its nothing but human arrogance to believe we are the special ones.

The guy comes off as an absolute quack. Even though he is a former astronaut his claims are very strange. A vague description, nothing concrete. If there is intelligent life elsewhere we can only hope someday soon they come and save us from ourselves. We seem to have lost most of the intelligence we once possessed.
And what's with all the spam on this page. GO AWAY YOU TURDS! We have enough problems here already.

Chiding and making fun of stories like this one is exactly what the disinformation campaign people want, in fact, it is their primary strategy to keep us in the dark. Go ahead fools, keep your head in the sand. In spite of what you think and your not knowing anything about the subject, you ridicule these reports. They are many serious UFO researchers out there dedicating their lives to this and you idiots brush it all off. Even a cursory investigation on your part would change your opinion. Again, "the disclosureproject.org" and "earthfiles.com" are two good starting points.
